This game ended up way better than i expected from the demo. The DLC shouldve been part of the base game but you dont miss it in game tbh. If youre a voyager fan i think its a must have. The logs Voice acted by Tim Russ and Robert Mcneill were awesome, and the game does a great job of capturing integral moments from the show and still hitting some of those emotional moments. If you aren't a fan of voyager its still alot of fun. even if you are new to star trek the plot rolls well and you get enough of the characters you can definitely enjoy it. the gameplay loop was suprisingly more addicting than i was expecting based on the demo. and all of the alternate choices that change things made where i instantly wanted to start a new match after my first one. If the price isnt worth it to you i definitely think its worth it on a sale if its the kind of genre you enjoy.

Its got potential. if you like fish keeping you can definitely have some fun with it but its extremely bare bones currently and its very rough graphically, even for a sim game. on sale id say its worth it but until a major update or two I cant recommend

First things first. If you play Call of Duty for the campaigns this one is a must have. Personally it was my favorite campaign in the franchise. landing on the beach in Normandy you quickly start to get a glimpse of how the actual men on normandy must have felt (obviously even with a game im sure it cant come close to what those men felt being their), and as far as i can tell from my limited knowledge they dont seemed to have whitewashed much.(I can still remeber the first time seeing corpses hanging from the trees on nooses as you move past the beach) In the campaign you also play as one soldier the entire time, with various flashbacks/PTSD nightmares of your childhood. By the time you get to france it starts becoming obvious the trauma soldiers would have to ignore until they could make it home and face it with full force. All and all CoD: WW2's campaign gets a solid 10/10 and the spot as my new favorite that will always get replayed from time to time.

NOW FOR MULTIPLAYER:
If you play Call of Duty for the multiplayer experience and dont care about the campaign, then give this game a hard pass. Multiplayer is nothing special and lack luster in alot of areas. Im not a CoD veteran by any means, and i do suck at multiplayer, but even for me the weapons and loadouts felt really limited with the map selection feeling worse. Just found myself thinking the whole time id rather be playing a different CoD or different shooter all together. Since im no expert on MP CoD i wont be breaking down all the specific ways its lackluster as im sure id butcher it. but if your looking from a noobs perspective whos been playing since world at war. definitely save your money.

TL;DR: get for the campaign not the multiplayer and always get on sale.

what can i say? one of my by far favorite games that i didnt know i had until i had it. originally picked it up in a humble bundle while i was getting PC simulator. the game has a steep learning curve but if you give it proper time and learn how to controll your ship is easy to lose yourself in space for hours. main cons ive seen are the multiplayer system(though im not experienced in MP at all other then one friend) but multicrew is basicilly pointless without fighters and even then would be better off in a wing with friends. long story short though even as a solo game with enough patients, is still amazing
