Lemme preface this story by saying that I’m a huge persona fan

I’ve spent far more hours in these games than I’d like to admit, and I’ve gotta singlehandedly thank persona 3 for being my cope throughout highschool. But I’ve gotta say, I’ve never really had a chance to discuss persona with anyone before. I didn’t know anyone else who were also fans of the game and I wanted to change that.

So I met a few persona fans and things were going absolutely great. For about 5 minutes. Truthfully I instantly felt like I didn’t belong. At first I suspected maybe I was suffering from social anxiety again. But you know after the third or so video of morgana ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ himself I was sorta at my limit.

And things just kept on spiraling from there. I tried to save the conversation by bringing up one of my favorite social links in the games, the sun from Persona 3. At which point I was informed that none of them had actually seen it before because they were too busy trying to date Maiko. Matter of fact one of them told me that he only played persona 3 to get kissed by maiko and persona 4 so that he could finally have a cute young Imouto that loved him.

It was at this point that I could hold it in no longer, so I decided to come out and just say it. Believe it or not but I am not actually sexually attracted to children. Instantly I could feel the temperature of the room drop by ten degrees with an unmistakeable sense of dread sweeping over me as I felt the eyes of every persona fan on earth turn on me.

But I don’t care, I stand by what I said. ♥♥♥♥ your obsession with putting teenage pregnancy in persona 6, Nanako is in fact NOT hotter because of her age since she isn’t hot to begin with, maikos storyline only makes me want to cry from my eyes rather than my ♥♥♥♥ and no persona 5 wouldn’t have been improved if you could romance the lolis

And you know what I’m gonna say it, I’m HAPPY that Japan raised the age of consent.

And yet in spite of all that I still like the games even though they aren’t perfect and the fanbase they attract is... unique. So speaking as a certified non pedofile member of the persona community. I can in fact confirm that morgana is hotter than maiko

Can we just stop calling people into loli pedos?

As someone with POCD, pedophilic OCD, where I get intrusive thoughts sexual thoughts involving minors, loli stuff for me is a coping mechanism, a way to cleanse these thoughts that doesn't harm a child, mind you again, intrusive thoughts, unwanted thoughts that make me feel horrible

And I know many other people who are in the same boat as me

Stop grouping us with pedophiles, we don't want to bring harm to children, we just want a way to cope
