When BG4?

Dear devs,

You've made a wonderful game. However. Most people will end up hating it due to the difficulty curve.

Two options.

Balance the game to make it actually playable without insane frustration from accident death spirals, resources simply running out, bad placements resulting in space crunch, sector-to-sector trade lag, worker riots which ensure MORE RIOTS, storms that destroy ships, and the general nature of this game being that almost every outcome results in a loss of progress.

Provide difficulty settings. I'm sure there is someone out there who wants to start over again and again after running out of carbon before half the visible galaxy is explored.... but that is not most players. Most players will be deeply frustrated by the problems the game currently faces and when they come to realize that there is no solution and the game simply ends instead of the broad progression curve being shown in most of the advertisements... They won't start again.

Looking forward to changing my review when this game is patched and balanced. For now it is a pile of frustration that I would advise the mass majority of players to avoid. Unless you want a progression based builder game where you perpetually lose all progress.... Don't buy Ixion. I don't really like saying this as the game is visually very well done and the game systems are well thought out and implemented... However the current balancing results in an experience that will be far too frustrating for most players.

The boons are rare to non-existent, the breakage is constant, and the player is arbitrarily punished for even the most basic decision.

Update: It appears as though the devs at Bulwark have a keen ear for the wants and needs of their customers and are quickly moving to improve the balance and difficulty of the game. The thumb turns in their favor. This is worth buying if you're ready for some early turbulence and will likely only get better.

Gangster economy sim. Not too many of these.

I've owned this game for years. Paid for it. Enjoyed it for thousands of hours.Now I've been told I am required to have an EPIC account to continue enjoying the product I already paid for. I have now uninstalled rocket league.

Its sad what has become of what used to be a good company.

Bethesda has taken a predatory stance toward the gaming industry and has abandoned their previous values resulting in a near complete loss of credibility.

If I could return this game... I would.

Quality game from quality developers.

-Update: Not so sure this is still true. Update bad. Developer should feel bad.

-Update 2: Developers have taken a game that was playable and fun and made it a frustrating nightmare. I don't think I'll play this game anymore.
