There once was a father and son. The father was filling ill and went to see a doctor. The father returned and told his son that he was dying from cancer and had a week to live. The son felt sorrowful and wanted to know if there was anything he could do for his father. The father told the son to gather all of the Father's friends at the bar. The son did so, then the father arrived at the bar, stood at a table with his friends and announced that he was dying of AIDS. The son was bewildered and asked the father in private, "I thought you were dying of cancer." The father replied to his son, "I am, but I do not want anyone dating your mother when I'm gone."
