This game is more frustrating than fun in it's current state. There is no ability to craft healing items without finding a VERY rare ingredient (rags) which you can't make by tearing clothes like in other survival games.

There are 3+ status effects (bleed, fracture, rupture) which all have a random chance of being applied anytime you are shot and ALL of these effects result in a permanent Damage-Over-Time that will kill you and can only be removed with a specific healing item. There is a first aid kit that heals every status effect, but I have only found 1 first aid kit total in 7 hours of play time.

Additionally, the audio is currently incredibly scuffed - the AI will room camp without making a sound, (which is fine) but you can also get flanked by enemies (even indoors) who make 0 footstep sounds and shoot you in the back without a single audio cue.

The enemies will periodically shout to announce where they are, but the positional audio from it is almost useless; it often sounds like the shout is originating from a location 90 degrees away from where the enemy actually is.

If you sprint outdoors AT ALL enemies will instantly zero in on your location from over 50 meters away. However, if you only walk non-stop and approach from behind, you can usually get within 5 feet of an enemy while jumping without them turning around or noticing you. This means you spend almost all of your time walking, which slows down the game significantly due to how much of the gameplay loop is wandering around aimlessly looking for random hidden loot and/or zone transitions.

As a longtime loyal Escape From Tarkov lover/hater, I really want to like this game, but I just don't -- hopefully it continues to improve.

This game has the making of a good game, but isn't quite there yet.
The controls are absolutely terrible and changing keybinds barely works. Even if you can rebind controls, sometimes your character will glitch out terribly, sometimes it's fun/funny - sometimes it very much isn't.
The performance is absolutely ATROCIOUS for what is being shown onscreen - I have a RTX3070 and an i5-13600, my game will dip to 40 FPS on low at times. My game is running noticeably WORSE after the Hotfix they released for performance issues.

This game is lots of fun and shows lots of promise.

HOWEVER, you desperately need to be able to sell/salvage blocks you have in storage, and tornadoes either shouldn't completely grey out the map or else shouldn't break the compass. As it is, you can have half of your territory covered by tornadoes that make it completely impossible to navigate, even if you avoid death at the center of the twisters.

This game is ALMOST worth playing. The game ends up being confined quarters fighting against endless waves of enemies with very little variety about 90% of the time.

This game is SO insanely deep it can be overwhelming. However, this is easily the best action RPG I've ever played. The depth of character building and the skill system are best-in-genre. The developer is ridiculously generous for a F2P game and the only micro-transactions are for cosmetics or a larger stash size -- more developers should learn from PoE!

This game was fantastic for quite a while, they kept coming out with new content; walkers, tank treads, repair bots etc. this game kept getting better! .. And then the overhaul came out.

Premium went from being quite affordable (couple of bucks for a week of premium) to costing almost $1/day and it's incredibly difficult to actually make the robots you want now without throwing down money or playing 24/7.

Sure you can recycle items to get currency for crafting things you want.. but the return is so awful; you might liquidate a dozen other items of comparable quality to get 1 more laser for your robot.

Don't want to buy premium? That's fine, except that the game has taken the art of reminding you you're not premium to ridiculous lengths. Prepare to open a crate and see a great item drop.. only to require premium to actually get it.

Can the game be fun? Sure it can, and for F2P that ain't half bad; but this game used to be great and I just can't convince myself that it's worth playing anymore. Building bots was one of the most fun things about this game, and now you are punished for playing around with bot design due to extreme cube limitations. =/

Fun game to play with friends if you can stomach all of the hackers. People cheat hardcore in this game, and I'm talking flying through walls and jumping 5-story buildings.
