Is it the best multiplayer game out there? Probably not. Is it rage inducing at times? Absolutely.

Is it fun? Yes.

Simple as that. Very interesting concept for a game as well.

I love every second of this game, even if about 60 hours of my play time goes towards exploring the map, completing side ops, and listening to Billy Idol. The gameplay is extremely addictive as well, and can easily be replayed over and over again for weeks, months, even years. Visually, it still holds up after almost 11 years. I'd recommend the game at full price, or you can get a steal when it goes on sale at around $5.

I can't even make any small jokes outside of pancakes. This game, in my eyes, is genuinely a masterpiece, and I love every single second of it. Even if you don't like JRPG games at all, this game is completely worth it, even at its full price.

Please play Persona 5 Royal, I AM BEGGING.

Early Access Review
Game was fun for the first three weeks, maybe four. After that, little to no content updates to keep players coming back, and if there was content being added, it's just microtransaction garbage that costs more than full priced games at times. I want to love this game, I do, but there's just not enough going for it.

I would've preferred if it kept an aesthetic similar to the older games, and was released as a full-price product, rather than a mediocre game with a style targeted towards out of touch millennials.

Maybe the game will get better, who knows.
