The gameplay & movement is crisp as hell (Try a 144fps monitor, wow!) & the characters are really cool & diverse & interesting & fun. The game modes & features feel a bit barebones but the devs care about this game and they've said they will update it a lot over the next few years, and that will mean a LOT of content & features if it's anything like Rivals 1. This game is their new baby. I think it'll be rewarding to invest time into.

If you're a new player: To me this game in its current state is basically only the ranked/casual 1v1s, I think that's where you can expect you'll spend most of your time. It's intimidating because the player base is pretty experienced and you'll lose a lot when you start out, but once you're in an accurate rank you'll always win 50% of your games!

Very polished fighting game made for melee players. It's great because it has lots of rock/paper/scissor positiong reads while having very little tech skill to learn. It's fast also
