This game is god-tier and sets a new standard for future RPG games: no micro-transactions, a finished product upon release as promised, and constant interaction / transparency from Larian that puts most other developers to shame. This was a passion project and they actually listen to their player base to cover as many bases as they're able— there was so much love and care put into this that it could make a mother cry.

If other developers are complaining that this is setting an impossible standard, well, obviously it isn't as Larian created this masterpiece. May this game set an example for future games to come. Developers don't need to push out a new game every year and then patch in new content that should've been included base game for a pretty penny. As consumers, we've been brainwashed into just accepting battle passes and paid DLC for far too long.

Please please PLEASE purchase this game and give it a swing, even if it doesn't sound like your normal cup of tea. It's got a little bit of everything for everyone.

On a more personal note, I haven't been this addicted to a game in a LONG time and I know the 140+ hours I've put into this game is going to double or triple with the amount of content and impactful choices made throughout the course of a single playthrough. The NPCs are likable and conversation is witty. Your character's class and race can come into play to change things up and no two campaigns are the same.

Def gay for Karlach. 11/10

This is an amazing game concept that I would love to see more co-op horror games incorporate. Even though right now there are a lot of bugs (yes, there are more than a handful), this game is honestly one of the most addictive games I've run across in a long while. There's a decent amount of content that gets added onto every few months, so the devs haven't completely abandoned their players (though they could use a boot to get them to fix the Survive with Friends queue).

Now, as someone who's put a decent number of hours into this game, I will say that the community is very hit-or-miss. People get super salty over the little things and that leads to poor gameplay for everyone. If you cannot handle other people making mistakes, then this game is not for you. If you have the tendency to rage quit or will turn on your team (if you're a survivor), this game is not for you. This game is filled to the brim with trolls and derps alike, so either you suck it up, buttercup, or you should go find a game where you can release your anger elsewhere. I've noticed that most people in this community go with the general rule of "don't be a d*ck" and it works really well. :)

For survivors, it is your goal to work together (<-- that's the magic word here) to get the f*ck out of the match. Each survivor has their own set of unique perks that make each one worth leveling them to make the ultimate perk build. Many builds can be created to benefit yourself or others (or a mix of both). Communication before the match is key to good team work, but most people simply go into the match planning to do their own thing. All in all, try to do your best and help your team as best you can, because that's all anyone really asks for.

For killers, you gotta be on your toes. I've just recently started playing killer and now I understand why killers do some of the things they do (except camping and slugging, 'cause it's pointless and no fun at all). Killer gameplay is fastpaced and because of each of the different killers' abilities, each one plays completely different than the next. Each killer also has their own set of perks that are beneficial to other killers, so try to max them out and figure out what works best for you.

TLDR:
The game is great even with its bugs and glitches, but that's to be expected of a game that's still moderately a work-in-progress. Each survivor and killer are unique and there's plenty of fun to be had either way.

May the Entity favor you in the Fog~!
