An excellent extension from the first game. Cool new weapons and more diverse abilities. I loved in the first game that you would unlock a new ability and it would get you into an area from a zone much earlier in your gameplay. That kind of scaffolding that makes the whole map still interesting throughout the game rather than just being finished with a place on the map. I think this game has a lot of stuff that makes it easier, which is the only thing I'm disappointed by. I know a lot of people complained that travelling was so burdensome in 1, but I personally liked that. I also appreciated that falling into spikes was an insta kill. That mechanic being removed along with the huge changes to travel in this game makes me kinda sad lol. Still a great game, great art, great soundtrack. If you enjoyed the first, I recommend it.

I'm not one for horror games so this was not my cup of tea, but I did enjoy the survival aspects. This was a good lesson in reading game descriptions before purchasing. Really neat graphics and atmosphere. Good sense of accomplishment with the tasks given.

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beautiful.
