my biggest criticisms are how markus x north feels INCREDIBLY forced in the storyline (even if it helps with the best ending, theres little natural build-up and even while actively trying to NOT get with her i still did) and how the ONLY QUEER REPRESENTATION SEEN is 2 feminine tracis from the eden club (yes, lgbt was founded on kink, but the fact that its literally only 2 lesbians from a sex club leaves a poor taste in my mouth since lgbt isnt inherently sexual)

other than those, AMAZING GAME. i adore games with dynamic stories such as this one, and its so satisfying to see what ending you get based on decisions so early into the game! i managed to get kara and co. across the border, managed to succeed in a pacifict riot with markus and jericho (wish i didnt need to kiss north for that, but if it works it works), and got connor to avoid getting hacked by cyberlife after the protest! and it feels so, SO good to see a people rise and fight for their freedom

as a queer, neurodivergent, and disabled american in 2025 with heavy financial struggles, this game hits home pretty close to me right now. i know for a fact other demographics can relate to the story much more than i, but i still find an immense amount of comfort in this game. i want nothing more than for people whos very existence causes no harm to have a free, happy, well-sustained life. everyone deserves freedom and joy, everyone deserves to do more than just survive. everyone deserves to LIVE.

thank you, dbh developers, for this incredible story. i plan on attempting to get the rest of the achievements at a later date if possible!

peak has a very silly bugphobia mode that makes me playing the game much more feasible and enjoyable! meanwhile repo didnt think to do it for their monster update until AFTER i had a meltdown from the spider potion covering me in spiders (major arachnophobe btw) so i have a grudge against repo despite still being a very good game

ive been hyperfixated on portal 2 lately and dEAR GOD I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH :D !!!!!!!!!
the dynamic lighting still feels so incredibly advanced even after this game has been out for over a DECADE, and the writing is phenomenal.
the characters are well written and feel very authentic and lovable, theres tons of humor while still maintaining a serious plot and intense moments flawlessly (as someone who likes rping with my own ocs i know damn well balancing serious and humor is difficult), and the world building is just INSANE when you really get into it and delve deep into just how vast aperture science is in many ways

whether you wanna just ♥♥♥♥ around with friends int he lobby or seriously wrack up a winstreak hunting ghosts, this is a golden horror multiplayer experience and i adore it with a passion - cant wait to play the new update tonight with friends!!
