The performance is not great but it isn't bad enough to ruin my enjoyment of the DLC. The actual content added is excellent. They added a number of new weapon types which are pretty interesting and very unique. In terms of bosses, there are 2 that I think are badly designed (one of them is skippable) but the rest are really solid. The best of which are some of my favourites in any From Software game. The new map is suprisingly large and has pretty varied environments with less repetitive content than the base game (there are only a few catacombs but they are much larger). Overall the game is very easy to recommend, especially if you enjoyed ER.

As a new player it takes too long to level up. There aren't any other players online at low level so you need to play for 100 hours against bots to start trying to hopefully queue up against other players.

SANABI is a pretty great game spoiled by some genuinely terrible boss design. Currently on the chapter 4 boss and I don't know if it is bugged or just questionable decisions but the game has become so frustrating that it would push me towards not recommending. The biggest issue is the lack of tells for when you should / shouldn't be able to land an attack. There are times where it is safe and you will connect, followed by moments that look the exact same but the boss uses a counter animation that doesn't start until after you have released your dash attack (only way to hit this boss) so it is impossible to react and their is no warning. When the fight is already fairly difficult without unavoidable damage it feels like you just need to smack your head against the wall until you get a decent run of no BS.

Hopefully they retune and fix the bosses as the game is otherwise pretty fantastic but getting punished at random has definitely soured the experience for me.

This has the worst KB+M controls I have ever experienced.

This is a cool game that for the most part plays pretty well. The issue is that it is plagued with a number of technical issues that were reported near the games release that are still unaddressed. Getting 70% of the way through a level then being hit with a CTD and being sent back to the start really ruins the flow of the game.

Maybe one day this game will be a good purchase but right now I can't really recommend it.

I beat all the non-dlc levels in 40 minutes. It's a cute little game if you get it for a couple of dollars but don't expect difficult puzzles. Essentially every level in the game is very trivial.

Not as flexible as it seems from the trailer. Painting grass onto your terrain takes a long time, there should be some easy way to cover an entire area in grass.
