A fun little rouglite concept. I beat it in about 3 hours but it was well worth the play. Honestly one of the more fun games I have played recently.

This game gets a lot more flak than it deserves. At least on pc, it is a fine title. Yeah it runs like ♥♥♥♥ on low end pcs but this game could be the one they use to test hardware long into the future, kinda like crysis. The gameplay loop is fun, and the game doesnt overstay its welcome in main content. Some mechanics are pretty clunky and the abilities arent super well balanced but they are fun to experiment with. The story is neat, though the game doesnt give nearly as much choice as it appears to. But if you went into this game just lookikng for a fun way to spend your time and not having any crazy expectations its not a bad buy. Get it on sale if you can. I mean get all games on sale if you can.

Still one of the best loot and shooters ever made. Lots of replay value, great modding options, lots of fun with friends. Grab a buddy and go ahead and get in the game.

The gameplay is very cool and the movement system takes everything we hate about teleporting as a locomotion strategy and makes it fun. I dislike games that make me point and click to move because I don't get motion sickness, but this game makes it work on so many levels. I and several others have encountered gameplay issues, as can be seen on the community page. But the developers seem to always respond to posts about game issues and they always seem to be able to make contact within a few hours of posting the issue. I cannot stress how great this is considering how long it has been since the game has released on steam. A lot of games don't get the support this one does. It seems like it is only going to get better with time.

Man, I really wanted to like this game, but I don't. I liked playing the previous installments of the franchise on the xbox as a kid, but playing this one on the pc just feels clunky. Early on in the game you have to do an escort mission where you escort your friend's vehicle while providing cover with a chopper, and the vehicle control scheme is just absolutely tanky. This mission really sums up what bothers me about this game. You have to manage the enemies on the ground with your machine gun while also killing other choppers in the air, and your ally tends to drive himself off of cliffs, causing you to fail the mission. There are ways around having to deal with the choppers. You can jump out of yours and take over the enemy choppers quickly and not have to worry about them, unless your chopper falls and exploads on your ally, in which case you fail the mission.

The game isn't awful, but it is quite clearly made to be played with a controller instead of a mouse and keyboard. I personally don't like playing shooters with a controller anymore, because my hands are pretty twitchy and my thumbstick skills are pretty lacking in situations where gun accuracy is a must have. The controls just don't feel fun for me, and it really prevents me from enjoying the game like I know I should be. It's my problem, not the game's, I don't want anyone to think that I hate the game and think it is trash just becaue I am bad at it. I'm just not having any fun which is a real shame since I really used to enjoy these titles.

I grew up in a Nintendo household where I always got the hand me down consoles of my cousins, so I didn't grow up playing the old Sega Genesis Sonic games. I did play the gameboy advanced games, however, and I really enjoyed that type of game growing up. So when I found this game, albeit a bit later than most did, I was excited to play it. That being said, the game looks and feels more like the classic games than the GBA ones.

I actually really enjoyed this game. For the most part the controls are tight, the artwork is inviting, and the music is enjoyable. I will say that the voice acting often falls a little flat and is a bit inconsistant in quality, and the story isn't perfect. But the gameplay is fantastic. The movement is, for the most part, very fluid and the combat is both challenging and engaging. The boss fights are better than the games it draws inspiration from as they are less like the dodge and attack sequences of the Sonic games and more like the dynamic combat of a hybrid Megaman game. There are times when running through the levels that you can easily lose momentum. I found myself walking up a wall many times when it seemed like the game was expecting me to be sprinting up them. This problem is excaserbated with characters that don't have a dash, like Milla or Carol without her bike. But the game is by no means slow. The lives system seems pointless and the shields and orbs aren't explained to you in game, but they are still fun to collect and use.

I would recomend this game for anyone who is looking for a fun sidescroller or a nostalgia trip. It doesn't take too long to play through but there are a good number of collectables and the multiple characters and difficulty settings add to its replayability.

Before you buy Shadwen there are two things you need to understand: it's a lot like Assassins Creed, and the whole game is an escort mission. That being said, the game is a lot of fun. It is in no way too difficult to beat the game whether you play violently or not. The story is a little bland, but the gameplay makes up for it in quirky time-play mechanics and a sweet grappling hook.

If you can get this game on sale for under $5 i would grab it. It's fun and a pretty easy way to get an assassination fix.

While this game does have a learning curve, and despite the fact that gameplay is often just comprised of waiting, reading, and getting kicked in the sack by various historical events you forgot your starting country had to deal with, this game is really quite fun. You get to play however you want to, and basically simulate history from the perspective of some random nation. Want to make some extinct nation own the whole world? It's possible in this game. Really hard to do, but possible I'm sure.

Like the rest of the titles in the 12 Labours of Hercules, I found that this game delivers a very simple yet enticing gameplay experience. The game is very easy, it can be beaten by anyone, and yet it can be challenging if you wish to try and add time limits. Overall the game isn't bad, it just really lacks substance. It feels very much like an app I would play on a tablet. I would feel more comfortable dealing with adds on a game like this if it meant i didnt have to pay for it.

I don't know, it isn't a bad game, it just doesn't have a lot going for it.

A little spooky at times but fairly mild in content.
