Overrated tbh. I recently played the original Sonic and Sonic 2 (& Knuckles) and some of the stages from Mania feel directly copy pasted? And it's the worst parts too like Chemical Plant Zone. No one likes water levels

This game is more of an arcade racer with emphasis on drifting and taking shortcuts over track racing and it takes me back to the NFS games of old. It's really fun once you get the hang of it. Just because it's arcade doesn't mean it's easy though, it can be brutally hard if you do races at recommended level. Usually I overlevel for races.

My main criticism would be cop chases. They are brutal, much harder than NFSMW for example. There's no easy way to get rid of cops besides crashing into them but this also can damage you and you have limited HP.

Anyway I actually prefer this to Forza because there's more of a story and the cars are very customizable which I like.

This game feels like people who have never played Pokemon trying to copy Pokemon.
- All the nexomons have almost identical base stats on their final evolution
- The move diversity is really bad. Many of the moves are completely useless except the damaging ones.
- Expect to have only 4 moves per mon for the majority of your playthrough and even then you'll only ever use 2
- Even mega or ultra rare nexomon will have pretty much the same potential as a common first route nexomon.
- There are no abilities that would differentiate nexomons from each other
- Nexomon can only be one type so even that small variation is gone
- Many of the designs are actually pretty good but some are also pretty basic. There are about 5 evolutionary lines that are just cat + element, two are fire type.
- There are 301 Nexomon but because of all of the above I struggle to see why you'd want to bother catching all of them

It's almost feels like a parody of how non-Pokemon fans see Pokemon, you just click the supereffective move and win. The core gameplay is extremely basic compared to the other Mon games I've played like Coromon and Temtem. The dialog heightens the feeling of parody as a lot of it is self-referential and fourth wall breaking making fun of the tropes of the genre or directly referencing the player. It's kind of hard to get immersed in a story that treats itself like a joke.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE WINDOWS MIXED REALITY OR A VR SYSTEM THAT TRACKS THE CONTROLLERS BASED ON CAMERAS IN THE HEADSET. IF YOU HAVE A VR SYSTEM THAT USES OTHER CAMERAS FOR TRACKING YOU'LL MOST LIKELY BE FINE

I have Windows Mixed Reality and it makes it nearly impossible to master even after trying to adjust the drums and the hammers because the field of view only lets you see 3 drums at a time. With Mixed reality the controllers need to be in view of the headset in order for it to register its position, therefore it's kind of impossible to for example hit notes at both the first and last drum at the same time because at least one of the controllers will be out of view of the headset.

Refunct? More like Refund.

I finished this game in 20 minutes. It could have been less but I decided to explore and see if there was anything else to do in it afterwards. There wasn't. That's literally it. It's not even fun, in fact it's ridiculously easy unless you have a severe physical handicap, but then again I've seen someone play Rocket League with their mouth so. Besides that the game isn't as "beautiful" and "atmospheric" as people claim it is. Sure the textures look ok but the developer maybe had to make 10 3D models AT MOST, theres nothing except an ocean and some squares. This seems like a single weekend project for the developer, it should not be as rewarded as it has been with positive reviews and so many sales.

The only good thing about this game is that it's so shallow and empty, no one will be unable to refund it because of playing it for over 2 hours so it's essentially free.

Boring and repitive, a single fight can last for 30 minutes and after two of these I stopped playing.

I don't think this game needs more positive praise but I'll give it anyway. A hardcore but very entertaining platformer. Very challenging but it only makes the victory taste sweeter in the end.

Do I like this game? Yes. Do I recommend it? Not in the current state.

Even though the physics engine and actual gameplay work shockingly well now there is very little to do, even for the most creative and destructive players. Sandbox can be fun but it would be better if you could create your own levels which should not be a hard feature to add. This game has a lot of potential but I've seen games with more potential fail hard in it's goal when it's released so if you have a few bucks you can take a gamble on it being a great game someday. For now I'm going to give it a thumbs up but be warned if you are buying it you are buying a barebones alpha version and it might take years for it to become something truly great.

Without a doubt the best single player free to play experience on Steam

A frustrating but delightful game for the hardcore gamers with the quickest fingers amongst us. Only buy this if you have a lot of patience and you're willing to be humbled.
