Reinstalled it to get the new achievements, game had other plans and decided to crash my entire pc whenever I tried to load a nation. I mean it crashed worse than Skyrim! I had to unplug my pc and wait for capacitors to drain before plugging it back in to get any I/O.

I lovethe original MW2, but have falllen out of multiplayer FPS for a long time now, and the single player is alright, but man is it ever hard to play. I would love to come back to this game in a few months when the constant crashes, flashes, and softlocks get cleaned up. On release I believe there is a critical error with asset loading, specifically that eventually it would freeze the game and cause a crash (at which point you need to restart three times to get back to the last checkpoint.), after getting halfway through the campaign in twenty minute segments I found that online asset streaming caused it to crash less frequently, and then afterwards found that if I played on min settings the crashes did not occur whatsoever. However disabling asset streaming allowed me to see the garbage LODs the game has; I'm talking worse than skyrim. Also this brought on pretty constant flashes for the rest of the experience, kinda looked like view culling just not working. Then my resolution setting reset a couple of times, and in the last three campaign missions I started getting an error where if I died, the game would softlock on a black screen. Also, the second to last mission is mad wonky, from NPCs walking through closed doors, spawning inside you, NPC X-Ray vision, and the biggest letdown of a boss fight ever.

All in all, campaign seemed good but the engine seems a little undercooked, and sadly that really distracted from the experience. Especially compared to Modern Warfare 2019 where I encountered a total of 2 instances annoying bugs the entire time I played it.

The game is dope. Constant satisfying murder of hellspawn, resulting in a constant stream of bullets to kill other demons. If you aren't shooting something at all times you are probably playing a mario bros platformikng section.

Honestly this is just a quite fantastic game, literally the first thing I ever bought on steam. Has provided me so much fun.

pretty much just a conversion to 64bit. comes with most of fallout 4's weirdness, as to be expected. Runs better with massive modlists. no a whole lot to say that hasn't already been said.

I'd recommend to use Special edition if you want to actually play the game. If you're a screen archer or something oldrim is probably for you.

About a 8 months ago now I bought this game (I'm not one to really review games but I finally got to it) and I was IMMEDIATLY SUCKED INTO IT, it is a very easy game to get the hang of but it can be dificult to master. Now that an intro to the review is out of the way, this game is amazing and is perfect for playing offline, despite some bugs in it for some players (mostly the achievement glitch) the game works amazingly and runs well with most systems i have found, on a one to ten scale I would rate this game a solid 8.8
