It gets very repetitive and boring after a while, the monsters are very unpredictable and buggy tbh.

Apparently, this game uses a "Survival Game Kit v2" - exact same features, so the exact same bugs exist as in that kit :(

There's quite a few replication errors and reconnecting to a server - already running and saved - makes the joinee's world different from the host, so you effectively cannot play with the host anymore. (He is at emission 5 and I'm at Emission 0 again, the outside world - outside of the base - is different)

Performance issues were also prevalent - on 3060ti and also on a 4050 - but that's just unreal engine

Otherwise the game is much fun.


QuickFix: Wait until the next day, and the states synchronize then you can play again together!

I wanted to like the game but there are a few issues:


- Chromatic aberration looks insanely cool but sadly it will destroy your userbase, it is an option that people LOVE to disable (here it would kill the game's vibe if removed, so I understand why you cant disable)
- The game crashed out twice on an nvidia 4050 (6GB) once dx11 and once dx12 (I've played a ton of demos today so its not my computer, its the game)
- Lots of technical issues and other missing features
- Unreal Engine is wack, sorry - don't build indies with it :(

What I liked:

- Some part of the vibe
- The old 80-90s camera vibe (Chromatic Aberration, but it will be hated by most gamers tbh.)
- The setup
