My friends asked me to buy Arc Raiders and I refused. "Extraction shooters are not my thing", "I'm too employed to spend time in a game where you can lose all your gear and have hours of effort go to waste".

But Marathon trailers left an itch, and then the server slam happened. Only got into it on the last day cause I was trying to convince myself that I wouldn't like the game, it would be a waste of time. After the final match of that day, I pre-ordered and have been totally hooked on it since release.

But at least I wasn't totally wrong, I do keep losing all my gear over and over. 10/10
