This game is very fascinating with a story that kept me engaged, and not wanting to close the game until I got my first of apparently many endings. The actual business sim portion of this game is very unique, if a bit tedious. You definitely need to pay attention to what the customers want to get, and without giving too much away, you will need to think outside the box in order to figure out how to make transactions less tedious. I was drawn to this game by the Game Boy Camera aesthetics, and now I am staying to give the Clerk and Sam the best ending, no matter how many endings I have to go through. One issue I did have with this game, a trivial issue to some I admit, is that the game would not let me go to windowed mode even if the fullscreen option is unchecked. Glitch maybe? Otherwise, great game.

For those of you who grew up in the early 2000s with either a LiveJournal, an online role play community, or both....this game will absolutely hit you in the feels. I'm not just talking about nostalgia either. This game tells the story of friends who found solace in a Live....er....LIMEJournal roleplay community. You'll have your IRL bestie....the mutual that you met through your IRL bestie....and online romance??? YES! As hard as this game hits you with the nostalgia, it will absolutely hit you in the feels as you build your relationships. And depending on how into the online world you were during this time, it will hit you even harder. You will laugh, you will cry, you will cringe, you will have a good time, you will have a bad time. All in all, it will be absolutely worth it.

The fine people who worked on this game knew exactly how to capture the feel of growing up in the LJ / RP era of the internet. Everything, including the pixelated transitions between websites is perfectly recreated to bring you back to the 2000s. And even with how emotionally invested I was in this, I found myself most impressed with how these people were able to succeed in recreating what the internet was like for some of us in the early 2000s, for better and for worse.

But even if you didn't grow up with a LiveJournal, this game is still one of the most emotional stories I have ever experienced in gaming, with game-play mechanics that simplify the online interface style of gaming in ways that make it one of the more easily accessible online interface simulated game-play.

This game does deal with heavy topics. Some of these topics include assault, bullying, descriptions of explicit violence, gaslighting, and varying degrees of depression and anxiety. So be prepared mentally if these are topics are not easy to handle.

All in all....incredible game. Would strongly recommend. You'll get more out of it if you ever had a LJ account and/or got involved in online roleplay. But even if you didn't, this is still worth it if you are into story driven games.

Worth the wait! It was very interesting to see how the "loop" system worked after so long, but it was a very enjoyable experience. The only issue I had was that it seemed like some of the voice lines sounded quieter than others. But other than that, definitely a good "no two playthroughs are exactly the same" experience that you can't really find in games of this genre.

[Disclaimer: I played an early build of this game on Itch Io before the game was released on Steam. I was also offered the Steam version of the game to help test it out for bugs.]

This game is short and sweet, but the writing in this game is phenomenal. The interactions between the characters is so fun, and down to earth. You might end up not liking one or two characters at the start, but depending on your choices, you will end up loving EVERYONE near the end. The music in this game is probably the best I have ever heard in any visual novel. And all the feelings are so well written. No spoilers, but one ending is a literal roller coaster of emotions.

Short and sweet. One of the best visual novels I have ever played. Keep an eye on Delphinium Interactive. They know how to bring together memorable visual novel experiences with top tier writing, excellent art, and beautiful scores.
