A once in a lifetime masterpiece. This unassuming game is unique on so many layers - level design, storytelling, boss design, soundtrack, atmosphere... And on top of that it has a brilliant co-op/PVP mechanic that bleeds into your single player experience in unexpected ways. The PVP in this game is suprisingly deep and you can actually play it as a fighting game after finishing your campaign.
