Patch 7 added DLSS and the game runs pretty much like butter now. If you've been holding out buying because of poor performance, do yourself a favor and hop in.

There are a lot of reviews on this game from folks who are, reasonably, upset. Early launch was a total mess but as of the official launch day, it's honestly significantly better. Servers are feeling stable, there's not as much delay to click through things, and overall it's feeling good. There's still missing content but if you're an avid Blood Bowl player, it's a go. Multiplayer feels good and overall things are feeling good.

Edit: 12/12/2024

This game has improved significantly even since I've posted this. Truthfully, in April of '23, the game was nowhere near where it should've been but I felt it was in a "good enough" place. Now? Things are feeling great overall. I'd absolutely recommend the game to folks who want to play *close* to a tabletop experience. Play NAF style in the Norsca Arena, join a private league so you can banter with folks, or just do none of the above and play the ladder.

JJ Abrams stayed the hell away from this one so you know it doesn't suck.

This is a certified good game. I've played it for over 22 years, and there's still active leagues (http://rshl.org) that you can be involved in. A++ would play again.

I own all the Jackbox games in some iteration or another, most of them here through Steam. I also host get togethers with my friends for board games and, well, JPP3 has pretty much taken the seat as king of things we do. All of the minigames here play well. That's a nice change from previous party packs where there was always a game or two that wasn't so great. The worst game in the set now is "Faking It". Everything else plays well, Tee K.O. is great, Quiplash is amazing as ever, and Murder Trivia is easily the best trivia that Jackbox has ever done.

I recommend the heckin heck out of this version. I paid the full retail price and don't regret it at all. And, well, you can see we've gotten some mileage out of it. We even played this with my wife's family and they, being less technical or nerdy, enjoyed the heck out of it. And nothing's so sweet as seeing an 8 year old draw something resembling Goatse, peace be upon the goatman.

Pros:
Great for large groups of 6-8
Fantastic setup procedure
Easy to use
Streams well over Steamlink
Great selection of games compared to other Jackbox.
You can buy the T-Shirts you make in Tee K.O.
Twitch integration for easy streaming.

Cons:
Faking It does not play nearly as well as you'd hope. It's slow and just not that fun.
Not great with groups smaller than 5.
Quiplash set seems smaller than previous iterations.
Your mom goes to college.

This isn't the best game that I've ever played, but it's definitely not the worst. The Survey is in the vein of P.T., RE7, and any of the other scary house walking simulators that you might've played. But for 2.99, it still hits the price point of 1 hour of play for every dollar spent... and that's pretty darn good.

Pros:
Wife enjoyed watching me play (Go Steamlink)
Good atmosphere
Interesting story told by notes
Acoustics, setting, all that was neato.
Worked well with a Steam Controller

Cons:
No real danger-- all appearances of the creature are set pieces.
Short? I guess?
It's yet another damn walking sim.
Unity engine

If you enjoy interactive story telling, and you enjoy games like P.T., and your standards are as low as mine are when it comes to Horror then you'll get your money out of this game.
