While the game itself is fun on its own, mods are where you can elevate the game and make it whatever you want. Want to roleplay as a merchant? There's a mod for that. What to play as a blacksmith? There's a mod for that, too. Want to become Darth Vader and kill everyone. Mods! This game is easily at its most fun with mods!

The servers shut down in April of 2021. This game is basically obsolete now. I was hoping to play it again, but, apparently not.

It was the first ever Sonic game I owned. Granted I first owned it back on the Gamecube in early 2002-2003, but, I absolutely love that it's on Steam now.

The game constantly switches up it's own logic. Oh, an enemy is using an ultimate attack, use defense breaking punch to stop them. Nope, that doesn't work anymore. Oh, you don't have time to stop them from doing an ultimate attack, just guard against the attack. Nope, you still get hit and still take damage. If the game is supposed to be a fighting game, make it so we can block attacks or dodge them. I don't care if it's "not cannon" to block or dodge some of the attacks, it's a video game, make them blockable or dodgeable. Otherwise we lose interest fast. Basically, make your game fun Bandai.

Going completely blind into this game, I was expecting an action combat game similar to Marvel's Avengers, I was not expecting a turn based card game RPG style game. It might be fun for others, but, this kind of game just isn't my style.

Survivors are OP and sweaty try-hards who hate having a difficult time and the Devs do not care if there are no killers to match up against. Save your money and and go play among us, at least you'll have a more balanced game experience there. Either the devs need to NERF SURVIVORS or they're going to lose all their killer player base and make DBD a dead game. NERF SURVIVORS YOU STUPID ASS DEVS AND GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR ASSES!

Despite being up to date, and trying to get it to run multiple times, the game refused to even run, despite Steam saying it was running, it wouldn't even show up in my taskbar. I cannot recommend this to anyone as I was not able to even play it.

It's a really good game that returns to Sonic's early days. I've been a supporter of Sega and especially the Sonic franchise since I played my first Sonic games on the Dreamcast: Sonic Adventure and Sonic Shuffle. I'd definitely recommend this to players who own the Sega Genesis/Megadrive Classics game on steam.
