Why would anyone recommend this game in its current state of play. My 3080 ti system, running it at non native 1080p has such horrible stutter the game is unplayable.

But, this is more than just a game that isn't playable at launch. Here is the deal, I gave money, upfront (pre-order ultimate edition), to a corporate company, with the hope and promise to get a quality product. Yet again, corporations have failed. If it isn't missing sauce with your nuggies at McDonald's or the tomato soup missing out of your pick 2 from Panera Bread. I can't be the only one who has witnessed/experienced this frequency of greed. Forever the price goes up and the quality/service goes down. What gives? I will tell you what gives, I will no longer, in the sphere of gaming, pre-order their product first and be a consumer tester. This was not released as a beta title, to be clear. This was to be a finished product. Before the haters start, I get it, not everything is perfect at launch, but this could be at least playable.

After spending over 1000 hrs on the first title, my level of excitement for this experience was highly anticipated. Colossal Order's reputation preceded them. I trusted their process of producing quality titles. Truth be told, I am generally depressed by this and feel ripped off financially. To think about, how often we are let down by companies, I am going to be a better conscious consumer and stop contributing to the greed.

This is the only city builder to buy. Great mod community, reasonably priced DLC that enhances the game and a level of depth that will keep you coming back for more. With having played over 700 hrs, I would recommend this game.
