A day passed, and so did the Oreo.
I may have exaggerated a little bit though, the Oreo wasn't entirely whole when it came out. It remained one until the home stretch when suddenly the pressure was too much and it split down the middle. Now you may think "Well thank god! A whole Oreo would have been way more painful!" but that's where you're wrong. While a whole Oreo is large, yes, it is also conveniently rounded. A broken Oreo on the other hand is inconveniently serrated.
The entire ordeal lasted an hour in the bathroom and another three on an ice pack. Like a surfer who returns to the ocean after being attacked by a shark though, I looked my enemy dead in the eye and finished the feast. The Oreos may have won a battle, but I won the war.

I was walking through my living room when I failed to notice the step between that room and my kitchen. My right foot was hooked on it and I went down, Oreos and all. Just before I fell though, I was about to bite into one more glorious Oreo. In an attempt to save it from certain doom, I tossed it lightly towards my mouth, like had done so many times before with grapes and M&M's and other small foods. What I didn't account for though was the speed I was already falling at. Before I knew it, the Oreo had disappeared. I mean it wasn't subtle, I knew where it was, but it was gone. For a few seconds I thought "maybe it's just in the back of my throat or something...surely it couldn't have..." But nope. I had gulped down an entire Oreo without so much as a bite.

I once accidentally swallowed an Oreo whole, which is exactly how it came back out. Please don't tell anyone.
EDIT: Some clearly needed back story: I remember the day well, it was a rainy Tuesday. I was walking around my house eating a handful of my favorite snacks, Oreo cookies. Now this was back in the day before they turned them into genetically enhanced super cookies. These were just two cookies about the size of a silver dollar with a reasonable amount of cream in between. That being said, it was not a pleasant experience.
