Early Access Review
Don't judge my review by time played, as anyone who's played this knows that the game is quite the challenge and plays very, very fast. I love it for that, as there's no story, there's no bullcrap cinematics. It's simple graphics, simple mechanics, and merely dares you to survive with one of it's variety of characters. Can't wait to play the multiplayer sometime.

Loved the tedium veil over this really nifty title. Puzzling out the day-to-day entrants may feel like work, but they throw in a lot of flavor to the world that makes you look beyond the paperwork aspect of the game to focus more on the moral quandary of your Inspector position. Glory to Arstozka. Cause no trouble.

The board game is a better experience, obviously, but in a pinch this game is one of those fine idle fillers that doesn't require a vast amount of attention. The music, an eternally looping midi of Red River Valley, will induce suicide if you don't disable it, but I strangely find myself slavishly enduring it in a masochistic fashion.

I'd never read the comics, but I guess this is a prequel to those. Story-wise, it's very unique. I enjoyed the theme of fable characters making their way in the human world, and the modern-noir tone of their presentation. The decision making process, to me at least, didn't feel as heavy as The Walking Dead, but they're very different stories, and WAU is more about unwraveling a mystery.

I had a lot of fun playing this one, I highly suggest it.

Was surprised by how much I enjoyed ACIV. The AC titles have never been very appealing to me, personally, as I find them to be one of the more redundant series of games out there which also happen to be manufactured by one of gaming's sleaziest companies; however, I got this baby on sale and enjoyed it for a good amount of time. The ocean dynamic is a ton of fun and while things are 'noobed' down with attacking and such, the storyline was relatively engaging and the swashbuckling aspects of it hooked me from the start. When I beat it I was pleased - no more god-awful tailing missions. Screw you for those, ubisoft.

Borderlands 2 is well-established as a great title by now with a metric assload of DLC, so there's not much new I can say about it other than I thoroughly enjoyed playing the campaign. It peters out like anything else after awhile, but they made it a lot of fun for what it is.

The only part of the game that's good, besides the voice manipulation, is the potential amount of ways you can glitch the game. Have at it.

It's definitely nowhere near the same as playing MTG in the old days, but if you want to ressurect a bit of the thrill, it's worth the dough.

LA Noire never lived up to it's lofty expectations, but it did some things right: the faces are incredibly detailed, the story was interesting and had some ties to real history, there were a handful of well-known actors that you'll probably recognize, and the interview system is a little more difficult than you'd think. I made the mistake of paying full price for this, but Steam's been pushing this title for cheap lately. Snag it if you find it under $15.

There's an unusual pleasure in Killing Floor's gameplay that sets it apart from L4D2 that I can't quite describe. I think it's because it's more mindless and savage, but who knows. A must-own, and a LAN party staple.
