Master Duel is a fine way for people new to the series, and returning veterans to jump in and play a game w/ no issue(s).

With that being said, this game while easy to learn has an insane ceiling, and while I think modern Yu-Gi-Oh! catches a lot of flack for how it's played in the modern day, it's within good reason. The modern power-creep makes it hard for newer/casual players to approach this game.

However, I still enjoy the franchise immensely. You don't "need" modern staples to win in this game, and your rouge decks can work, but keep an open mind when approaching this series.

If I were to have some gripes about Master Duel in and of itself as a game, is that the "casual" mode doesn't reward you w/ anything unlike the events, and ranked mode. This leaves very little reason for you to play the casual mode outside of testing decks w/o fear of ranking down in the ranked mode. Additionally, I find it hard to fully complete decks due to the crafting requirements. When crafting cards you have 4 categories (N, R, SR, and UR) where the latter two make up a majority of every archetype. Playing mostly casually, it makes it difficult to build a deck and play it w/o an immense grind, or dropping some money into the game.

All in all though, I still recommend this game even w/ it's faults, and how modern Yu-Gi-Oh is played. The game holds a special place in my heart, and it's nice to play this series when a lot of local LGS'S around me have dropped it.

For the most part, what you see on the store page is what you get.

This game is no sim, but at the same time that physics are great and it never really breaches into the "need for speed" arcade-y category of driving. The open world is beautiful, and the attention to detail on each car feels outstanding. I played this fairly daily when I had a Series X and loved it.

With all that being said, some events to me don't really "fit" this game? The rally dlc is amazing, and all of the cross country, and off road tracks fit this game well. The Mexican desert, and environment kind of lends itself to more of that outdoor road racing vibe. Other events however, don't "fit". There are midnight street racer events similar to NFS, but w/o the neon lights, or city environment it doesn't quite mesh with the vibe of this game, but that's just me.

All in all however, this game is great for when you have some spare time, and don't know what to do. You can just pop this game on, race a couple of matches, and have your fun. Highly recommend it when it goes on sale.

For me, I prefer this to Master Duel, despite that being the go to for a majority of duelists. I think that if you're like me, and haven't touched Yugioh since you were a kid then this is probably your best bet for a simple casual game.

The single player to me is great for beginners, and I feel that it does a good job in showing you the mechanics added per each gen of Yugioh. (From XYZ, Pendulums, etc). The unfortunate thing about this game however, is that you're restricted mostly to cards pre 2020. Which isn't bad, but you can't really practice most modern strategies because of the limited card pool.

With that being said however, at the time of writing this I have 80 hrs, and will most likely burn more time into this game, as it's simply fun. If you're looking for a competitive title and want multiplayer look at Master Duels, but if you're new to Yugioh, and want a decent single player sim? Go with this title, especially on sale.

When compared to it's competition Sonic Racing: Crossworlds delivers something to me that the others don't.

Pure, unbridled fun.

A very simple, and flashy kart racer that anyone can pick up, and bang a couple of hours out into. It has a ton of modding potential, but even outside of that, the base game is detailed enough in and of itself that it will give you hours of content to dive into.

I've always been a Sonic fan, and believe that this is a must have for people into the franchise.

Really fun, and cozy game. The general gameplay loop is fairly similar to other titles in this genre, where you gather and craft materials for your villagers, etc. However, I really enjoy the underwater segments, in addition to sailing across the ocean. It reminds me a lot of Windwaker, and not once have I felt like it was a burden or a bore to jump into the little boat you built to explore this world you're in.

I struggle to call it an Animal Crossing "clone", but it certainly takes inspiration from the title w/ the concept of villagers, and helping them move in, etc. So far though, I love the distinct personalities these little characters have w/ some being lovable jerks, and some being overly chummy. As opposed to New Horizon's the characters in this game feel more distinct to me.

The character creation is great. You could easily spend like an hour or so just making your character how you want them before setting out into the world. A minor gripe to me in this game is maybe the game's economy? Early game, it feels rough earning any sort of income w/ the little tourists you scrounge up in addition to materials you sale. With that being said, it isn't a issue completely unique to this game.

All in all, I really enjoy this game, and w/ it being Early Access I'm excited to see what they add in the future going forward.

Truly one of the most aesthetically pleasing, and graphically impressive games I've ever played. In terms of story it picks up right after the 1st game, but with how the game is expertly written it does plenty to catch newcomers up w/ Henry's tale.

I've always had a soft spot for medieval history, and I feel like this game does an excellent job in scratching that itch.

I felt like the experience was extremely linear. Even with the additional endings they themselves didn't feel like they added much. In terms of story, I felt this game told it well. With that being said the horror segments failed to leave a lasting impression on me, and at the end of the day I felt as though they were predictable.

The artstyle, and general feel of the game is nice. The game doesn't look bad at all, and I never noticed any slow downs, or any bugs during my time spent in this game. The dev is still actively working on this title, and is clearly passionate about it.

As a horror title, I can't really recommend it. If you're in it for the cute anime girl however, it'll probably be right up a lot of people's alleys.

Very funny, and enjoyable experience. The levels themselves feel diverse, and the overall vibe of the game is great. My one point of criticism is the lack of a checkpoint system. Dying and having to replay the level by scratch everytime can grow old.

With that being said, for the price point this game is worth it.

While it may be an "among-us" clone, or a game styled in a similar fashion I enjoy the thought that went into this game to distinguish itself as it's own thing.

Currently however, the biggest thing plaguing this game is the disconnects. Should one person turn their game off it shuts down the whole round.

With that being said, should you find a decent lobby it's quite enjoyable.
