One of the best pixelated art style I've ever seen in a game. Perhaps the best. Combat is pretty basic and might be the downside of the game. Other than that the visuals, music and story is good.

Talented developers, with the little resources they had and shifting studio because of war they managed to give us a well done 2D action/adventure which isn't a small feat. For 20$ I think it's definitely worth it.

Repeated and boring. Go in, search for gears, keep using your luck not to get killed by the enemy who were luckier than you, win if you're the luckiest. Rinse and repeat.

Hands down the one of the best addictive gameplay I've played. From Software outdid themselves again.

Epitome of RPG.
Without any kind of evil intentions like Microtransactions, battle passes, DLC's, Pay to win which usually many developers have now a days, We get a pure, amazing and well optimized RPG game from Larian Studios.

With the genre they were focused on, they have nailed it in every single aspects. I think they've extended the bar even higher for the genre.

Recommending this game only based on the game and not on game's performance.

It has a fantastic story, not as par with Witcher 3 or TLOU but there's something it touched my heart. Very well written and replayability is worthwhile.

Performance is bad tho. I have a decent gaming PC but crashes often and stutters bad.

After the release of this game the developers has been quite buzy with patching the game. The current state of this game has been drastically improved performance wise since the PC release. Developers has also been vocal with the PC community and working on it as per users request. You can see all of it in the patch notes.

The game is amazing, graphically and gameplay wise. Side quests are just fillers and very basic RPG elements. If you're looking for an RPG game like Fallout or Divinity or even Witcher then you'll be dissapointed.

Now that the port has been improved this game is definitely worth getting. Recommended.

The stories of Resident evil 2 and this game is linked but still it cannot be compared. This one is more action focused rather than exploration like RE2 was.
It's short but very straightforward, the game has relentless pacing which is good imo.
it has beautiful visuals and intense story.

Tyrant in RE2 always let you know his position, his pace was so deliberate, it's easily possible to just lead him in circles and get your stuff done.
Nemesis on the other hand is on the scene and focus of attention, He's stronger, he's relentless, he's faster and his tentacles grab can stop your attacks. He's 10 times more annoying and that why he is not persistent.

But they have cut many areas which could've been a 12 hr campaign atleast.

Yea I know the game's story isn't as good as BL2, Randy issues, exclusivity (that was a big one) and blah blah.

But this is a really fun game to play if you don't compare. Improved in many technical aspects from other BL franchise. Great to play with friends and family. One of the best co-op games out there.

The loot is fantastic, tons of varieties and variations.
Long campaign, small but many different worlds/areas to go to.
Different enemy types including all DLC's.
Different game mods to play, Mayhem 4 is tough and challenging for enthusiasts.
Side quests are good.

There are some performance issues, stuttering at random places but it could be fixed.
Driving controls were bad.

There aren't much cons. of this game. These are what I remember.

Grab this one if you like co-op first person shooters.
