I've been a Dauntless player since the release of the open beta somewhere around late spring 2018.
I've seen my fair share of updates for this game.
And yes, I have also sank many hours into it.

I tried the update and gotta say: "Most reviewers here are largely exaggerating.".

It does hurt a lot to see your favorite game turn into a gacha game.
However non of the gacha features are mandatory.
You can still achieve everything and get every weapon for free.

The game itself is still very fun and I absolutely love that they made the game a little more challenging.

Overall I recommend it. It's a free game after all.
