FFS, Steam makes billions every year, GabeN has diamond dentures and a Yacht that 99% of us can't even imagine! Still, they can't come up with a better review system! Every online game has the same issue over and over again, and people hit back with a review bomb because they can't connect. Wait until the servers are stable and give it a try. The demo was fun.

Abelard, inform the low-lifes on this page that Rogue Trader is worth the God-Emperor, and only heretics, xenos, and enemies of the empire would say otherwise. Once you are done, go lash yourself three... No. Four times.

I am what you kids call a 'filthy casual'. Spending 40 minutes against a boss with no option to get my character or gear better to compensate for my lack of reflex or skill, as some would refer to it, isn't what I call having fun. Don't get me wrong, this is a beautiful, well-done game, made for hardcore players, not casuals. Some people love the challenge, but I just like playing games without getting my blood pressure high.

Edit: Using a mod to remove the 2 points of damage from bosses and turning them into 1 makes the game A LOT more enjoyable. Something the devs should have thought about.

Edit2: Nope! I was wrong. I'm not having fun with this. Casuals, stay away!

I'm what you kids refer to as a ' filthy casual player'. I don't like PoE, never touched D4 or PoE2 (and I don't have any intention to), but I love Grim Dawn, D2, WH40K: Martyr, Last Epoch, and the first Titan Quest. I played this game a bit (played the demo before), and it's been a while since an ARPG gave me Diablo 2 feelings. I liked what I saw so far, but optimization is still a mess, although they seem to be working on it. The price is more than fair, and it's not like you're gambling EA with an unknown indie company. Give it a try, you may like it.

Yeah, their DLC policy is pretty bad, like Paradox bad, and they come without a campaign (or you buy it aside without the skirmish faction). With that out of the way and knowing where you are getting yourself into, it's a fun game if you like skirmish and multiplayer (although this is not my thing). You still can play against the factions you don't owe (just like in Total Warhammer), there are three different modes:

- Demoniac Incursion: you resist until you get yourself wrecked.
- Planet Supremacy: You play against two other factions.
- Crusade (still in development) is a rogue-like system, where you get your army better after each fight.
- There's a map editor/creator, which is good but could use more environments and addons.

Now, is this for you? Heck, if I know! But this is for me. I spent less money on 4 factions and the main game that I would spend on the physical edition to get a few units for one faction.

It's been a year since I deleted my old Photoshop and bought Krita. I use it 5 hours a month to edit and compose scenes for my work. It takes a while to get used to it, just like it takes some time to get used to any new software, but I don't regret changing and neither buying the paid version (which is pretty much like the free one, aside from getting auto-updates here). I wanted to support the developers and get rid of Adobe for good. Give it a try! You may enjoy it!

You can also drop Illustrator for Inkscape and Indesign for Scribus if you want to be free from Adobe's crappy policy.

Every now and then I think to myself, why don't I give this game another try?
Level 1 - 4: This game is fun! Why do I always quit after a while?
Level 5 - beyond: Oh... That's why...

This is just a remind to my future self: There's no balance after level 5, stop wasting time.

The game isn't perfect, it has its issues, but I'm giving thumbs up after a few hours of playing, mostly because those annoying things can be fixed with a patch. I loved the art, deck variety, tracing your path based on cards instead of maps, and gameplay. Some features like card removal would be great. Also, it's a bit weird if you run out of gas, you're dead, 'Crap! Out of gas... Well, I should kill myself!' Health/Sanity punishment would make more sense. Aside from those little issues, it's a solid card game with a lot of fun.
