Not being harsh, just frank. The "SLP aesthetic" isn't for you. It's not something you can buy with money. The aesthetic is beyond clothing. I know it sounds cheesy but the aesthetic is a lifestyle. You need to be skinny and lanky in order for it to actually work. There's a very small group of people who actually fit the niche and that's part of the attraction. You think that you know what the SLP aesthetic is, but you don't.
I suggest you go look at the runway shows aw&ss 13-16 of SLP, even some of the Dior collections by Hedi slimane. Look at the details. The fit of the clothes, the models, the music, the theme, etc. Understand that SLP has become more then just a clothing brand but a culture. It's hard to recreate the aesthetic if you can't define it
