I bought this years ago with the intention of playing the sonic games and they are in this pack even if sega did remove the purchase of them for origins, my issue isn’t with that but for some reason the physics of the sonic games have changed, sonic spin all for example is impossible to play now because everytime you hold a direction, sonic will slow down rather than use momentum to move, its very jarring.

What do I say about this game, it just tickles the organisation itch you always want with your own home/room but allows you to get things perfect, half the progression is grindy but just getting stuff automated is immensely satisfying, and you'll constantly change your base up as you expand, 10/10 perfect time sink.

Where do I start, the UI is straight off a Smart TV, it holds no ground with a VR controller, using the Rift S, the controllers point in an off angle compared to any other game or app that utilises VR with touch support, I can open steam VR while the app is open and the pointer is facing about 20 degrees above the steam VR pointers, it makes navigating on Oculus useless, none of the icons show up in the app (subscriptions/home/account) they all show as boxes with an X inside them, and by far the worst thing about the app is the low resolution, it shows 4K in quality, but it's 1080p at best, regular non VR videos are fine to watch(in 1080p), but the async warping going on in the app makes it impossible to enjoy anything, it's like watching videos with your face pressed up against frosted glass, worst VR experience I've had.

So, after 10 years, Tomorrow Corp released an update to support modern resolutions, unfortunately, they've made the game unplayable by introducing annoying micro-stutters in every aspect of the game, played for 10 seconds and had to quit, it's not a slideshow, but it's certainly distracting, one of my favourite games from the 2000's ruined.

Edit: Noticed there was a small update of 40Mb, had high hopes, clearly Tomorrow Corp don't listen to complaints, the micro-stutters are still present, I do hope they fix the issues.

(System specs are not crap, Ryzen 7 2700, 16GB RAM and a 1070Ti should be able to handle this game at 16K, never mind 1080p).

Edit again: Smaller update of 1.5Mb has finally fixed the consistent stuttering, glad it's working a lot better now and subsequently I've changed my review to positive!

well, i'm sitting here, watching this glorious black screen in windowed mode, must say, I read the reviews and thought, great, it's a bad game, I would like it for the trading cards, so I got it, at least it'll give me something to do while i wait for drops, but all I have is a black screen, I knew it was bad but just a black screen, best 39 pence spent ever.

If you like steampunk or puzzles or a challenge or all of the above, then this is the game for you, it's engaging and you will want to beat it.
