This game has a bright future in the APRG scene primarily because of it's expert item design. The process of finding items and crafting them is simple and satisfying. The synergies between skills are also a lot of fun to discover. All it needs is more end game content. While POE may be the king of the genre for the hardcore APRG audience, this game has a place for everyone due to it's accessibility and freedom to experiment. You can dive in blind and make an effective build and have a lot of fun.

This game is great. At times it will remind you of Skyrim with the big open world to explore, and other times GTA with the crazy stuff that happens and the game doesn't take itself too seriously. There's some good characters in the game but unfortunately the protaganist is really annoying. Also unforunate is that this game is from Ubisoft and the DRM is crap, a couple times I wanted to play and the servers were down... However that doesn't totally downplay the good things about the game. The visuals, and the first person animations are really cool. The island is huge and there is a lot of content and things to do. It rarely feels like a corridor shooter, you can approach most situations however you want. Best single player FPS I have played in a long time.

One of those games it's hard to stop playing. The environments and visuals and sound are all so well done, I always wanted to see what was around the next corner. The shooting/combat is good enough but not great. The characters are well done but you probably won't feel attached to them like in the first Bioshock. Story had a lot of cool ideas in it and felt satisfying by the end.
