Get down or you'll all be cactus!

Right off the bat, one of the best RTS games I have ever played, second to the first which in itself was a masterpeice. The size of this game wasn't as massive as the first, but sure gave everyone an easier time on how to play and wasn't as daunting on new players as the first one was. The collection of resources is more simple than the first as you have an unlimited amount of mass and energy, not having to build structures to have a large amount of resources. As for the warfare, although the scale is not as large and you cannot have as massive of an army as the first game, the units seem to do more, and is more of a selection of utility units. The visual effects in the Supreme Commander 2 sould suggest that it is made for more of the mainstream players because of the large amount of colourful environments and effects are much more than some of the gritty war-ridden maps in first game.

Overall the game is fantastic. I seriously recommend getting it, and try to beat the brutal AI :P

This game, is definately where you should be putting your money, 50+ side missions, and not a fully linear story-line ensure that you can travel the jungle, sand dunes, savanah and long streches of river for as long as you please. The engine, has amazing physics, and the fire physics in game, let you spead flames into the heart of enemy encampents with ease.
All in all, this would have to be one of my favourite games of all time.
