Bought it when it started getting updates, fun to play, got some good comedy to cheer you up if needed. Awesome that this game got revived after focus shifted to Payday 2!

Sometimes got good comedy lines, but sounds like the voice actors used computer mics and recorded them in the middle of the night and tried not to wake their family up! But all in all it's a reasonable rail-shooter game :) Has lots of modes but haven't tried them all yet. Will edit this review down the lines

Crash didn't happen for me at the truck escorting mission when the rocket hit. Don't know if it's fixed for everyone, but it's definitely fixed for me... Overall a great DLC when it's on discount and doesn't crash, advances the story... Get it on sale if you don't want to gamble with the game crashing.....

Deep story (a little bit stereotypical with the robot invasion stuff with AI as usual), but gotta say it is actually great and you only need one or two of the DLC to let you advance in the game! Graphics are great even on low. You do need to step up on gear when the difficulty begins to increase, though.

A very very very very very good zen game and can be paused at any time! Short but sweet

This game will always be a classic. Hours of endless fun and sandbox shooting (pretty much). Learning the ropes of the game is easy, and it for some reason feels (sort of) like a realistic game. It pleases both sleath-gamers and loud 1st person shooters alike! The game is NOT dead and ALWAYS gets updates, too! Definitely recommended from me :)

P.S. The game developers could really do with your support right now! That's why they've been adding things lately. :)

A good game despite Screwbisoft making it harder to run because of so many compatibility issues....

Fix for UbisoftGamLauncher (NOW CALLED UBISOFT CONNECT):
- You can also download the official latest version of "Uplay" through their official Ubisoft website. NOW CALLED "UBISOFT CONNECT"

Fix for Compatibility Issue:
1. To fix the compatibility problem, just find where your "steamapps" directory is on your pc, then click common\Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction\src\system

2. Right click on "conviction_game.exe" go to the "compatibility" tab and select "Run this program in compatibility mode for windows 7"

Fix for "black screen for 2 seconds when starting up, then quits to desktop":
1: Make sure to go to the directory provided in step 2 (below this one). IT IS IN YOUR "PROGRAMDATA" FOLDER in C:\ WHICH MIGHT BE HIDDEN. To view hidden files, go to the top tabs of "explorer" and click the "view" tab. In there you can find an option to "view hidden items"

2: Directory is -> C:\ProgramData\Ubisoft\Conviction The file should be named "ConvictionUserPC.ini"

3: Right click the file, Open it in notepad and scroll down to the area which mentions:
[UserVideoOptions.Your_USER.ACCOUNT_Name]

People say this game has fallen to crap but i still say it's still pretty darn good for a free-to-play. Shame they haven't changed the level cap of lvl 40 ever. Like everybody says, the character customisation is the highlight of the game. However, if you ever login whilst a sale is happening, ocasionally you'll find a really good offer! I managed to earn a freeform character for free (lets you choose your own powers and what your character should be like) from black friday sales (which you have to buy if you're unlucky). So if you've got decent standards for a free-to-play and free roam mmo, this game would make the cut. But yeah, i'm addicted. Screw all the people who expect a crazy amount from a free-to-play game.
