EDIT: Hey FYI if you keep clicking buttons (jumping while crouching and holding some other keys) and nothing's happening make sure your keyboard has n-key rollover. There's a decent chance that your button combination won't work if your keyboard doesn't have n-key rollover.

Go to an n key rollover test site and make sure you can press w,d,shift, and control at the same time, make sure it all works.

I've played the game for a really long time. Like since a few years ago. Some updates made me salty. But all these negative reviews seem to be about people being salty after a certain update. I'll write a longer review later, but ye, I'd recommend the game.
