Receta de Cazuela Chilena

Ingredientes

1 lb de brisket (tapapecho)
2 Cucharadas de aceite vegetal
1 Cebolla cortada en 4 pedazos
1 Pimiento morrón cortado en 4 pedazos, sin semillas
1 Cucharadita de orégano
1 Cucharadita de comino
Sal y pimienta,
Ramita de apio
2 Elotes cortados en 3
2 Zanahorias peladas y cortadas en 3
6 Papas rojas pequeñas peladas
4 Puñados de arroz
6 Trozos de calabaza naranja
1 Puñado de ejotes cortados a la francesa
5-6 Tazas de agua hirviendo

Instrucciones
Evite que la pantalla se oscurezca mientras cocina esta receta.

1 Corta la carne en 6 porciones. Calienta aceite en una cacerola amplia. Dora la carne 3 minutos por lado. Agregar la cebolla, los aliños, sal y pimienta, revuelve y cocina por 5 minutos.

2 Agrega las papas, zanahoria, apio, calabaza y cubre todo con agua hirviendo, 5-6 tazas. Cocina por 10 minutos. Agrega el arroz y el elote, cocina por 8 minutos más. Agrega los ejotes picados y cocina 3 minutos más.

3 Prueba, corrige la sazón y sirve caliente. En cada plato coloca 1 trozo de carne, 1 papa, 1 pedazo de calabaza, 1 elote.

4 Sirve con cilantro picado espolvoreado encima.
