Frankly speaking, its one of the best shooters of all time.

Ten times out of ten, seven days a week, this game is better than the competitor. Performance is better, development and support is active and helpful, more players can join per table, and scripting is a breeze. It's hard to overemphasize just how smoothly and professionally this game and publisher runs. Tabletop Playground is a stellar game.


The most obvious issue is the playerbase. Tabletop Simulator has a large one because it's the oldest, not because it's good or performant or supported. I have over two thousand and one hundred (2100) hours in TTS at time of writing. TTS WILL break down in a catastrophic way, and Tabletop Playground is where players should go. Everyone should be buying up this game for WHEN that day comes. Ideally, players would already be migrating to help this transition along.


A smaller pain point is mod.io. The developer maintains that monetization will be supported in the future, and DMCA is handled on the other platform, but it is a separation between game and player with an additional account and an extra website. It needs an in-game browser without a separate login.

This game is hilarious. The progression of the local meta is quick but pleasant, from trying to play normal chess, to learning that checks don't matter, and back to playing a bastardized version of chess, it's a ton of fun. With more polish, the game can go very far.

Its great. Just repetitive enough to be familiar without being totally stale. Got the cheapest version and earned the standard unlocks in less than 40 hours, although Recruit is the only one you need.

It's fun.

Nice game. Fun platforming, can be challenging at times, but the atmosphere and story are incredble. The player experiences things at the same rate as the character they play, leading to a VERY engaging experience. The twists and turns were brilliantly executed, and the graphics melt everything together. Not much replayability, but the first playthrough took me 40 hours anyway. You will need a walkthrough for some parts because you can get pretty lost. The additional content packs are interwoven with the normal game, and unless you're looking for the content you won't even realize its an addon, which is exactly how updates and addons should be. Fantastic gameplay, fantastic concept, fantastic art, fantastic story, and most importantly, fantastic execution. This is an instant classic that anyone will enjoy.

Bought into the hype, the game sucked. I feel bad for the friend who gifted this to me, because its not worth anyone's time, not even the devs, who have clearly moved on to better projects, or rather any project at all. This game should be removed and everyone who bought it or gifted it should get all of their money back.

Edit: Somehow, doing something for 2 hours isn't enough time to realize that something is ♥♥♥♥, I need to torture myself playing this awful game just to realize that it sucks even more than I thought.

Fantastic game, although with a certain flaw in concept. The game itself isn't a game, its a simulator, meaning you need multiple other people to play anything, and you need a preconstructed game to play, each of which are varied in quality and availability. There are some minor bugs, but they'll be fixed eventually, and they aren't game breaking by any measure.

It's a great way to play a number of premade tabletop games. I haven't bought any DLC, but all of them are clearly of a high quality. Potato/Tomato game. Not AAA, but very nice.
