Early Access Review
Been half a game for years, pretty good build and logic mechanics but very little game to leverage them in. FINALLY there is an update after years, physics and network improvements are nice, but NOTHING new for survival. Don't bother until they actually release something, anything, for survival, unless you are willing to do creative mode only.

The best squad game since L4D from one of the best studios. This is such a good game with both a wonderful community and a wonderful studio putting their heart into a living galaxy. The studio is crafting an ongoing story of a galactic war that responds to the actions and performance of the player base. Whether we save a world sometimes decides what new equipment is added to the game or if it is. This is a game at a very reasonable price that is way better than anything from a big studio in many years.

The game has had ups and downs, but has found its way to an excellent spot and the studio engages with the community better than any other I have seen. They are constantly working to improve balance and release new equipment and features. Initially they had a terrible habit of nerfing everything chasing a weird concept and balance that nobody liked, but they have worked with the community and completely turned things around. There are still improvements to be made, especially in the feel of survivability taking more than 1 hit and finishing bringing rifles up to the effectiveness and feasibility of shotguns and specialty weapons, but they succeeded in finding a balance where everything can work and there are plenty of builds worth using. The new illuminate are so fun and the evolving story and evolving community goals (major orders) are extremely engaging, and the best way I've ever seen for releasing new content.

They strike a great balance between running a profitable service game and generally avoiding feeling greedy, way better than any microtransactions, cosmetics, gacha, etc I have seen. I have felt it worth paying plenty of extra and the currency is properly farmable for free.

Sony can screw off, they still are pushing for their stupid PSN account to be linked and are preventing tons of people from being allowed to buy the game. All publishers trying to shove their irrelevant logins and launchers into games on steam can screw off and rot. Thankfully this solid community was able to lay siege with backlash to force Sony backtracking fully enforcing the requirement here.

Saw a youtube video of this game, then my buddy and I both bought it immediately and spent the ENTIRE Saturday playing! Absolutely great game, well work the $5!

Free weekends are effective! I generally avoid most card games in general, but I enjoyed playing enough that I bought it! Pretty fun with a decent story so far, card mechanics are not too terribly random and power swingy, with some nice room for tactics. First trial can be finished in 1 round, I spent a useless card to get more hero dakka to keep throwing rocks at dogs. As an old school true believer, decent Marvel games are always welcome!

Game is not perfect, voice casting is fairly disappointing. Could be interesting to see mods with amateur dubs replacing character lines. Acting and writing are not bad though, and happy to get some interesting takes and fun references. Illyana's tweet about her brother constantly checking on her is funny and accurate, despite his literal hard shell he has always been such a softy inside.

I want to recommend this, but I definitely cannot yet. I LOVE the game, it is very fun, and steeped in 40k lore; however, it is buggy as hell, none of the multiplayer stuff works, you cannot merge teams or see people from previous games despite there being an option supposedly for that. The story is also trash, basically every cut-scene says "you are proving yourself, but you are trash, so you better work even harder to prove yourself. No variation, just "you suck, work harder".

Early Access Review
I may owe my soul to the company store, but I am slowly earning it back through good, honest, deadly work.

Such a good game, more than I would have expected, can be very satisfying! Needs more ship types, at least double, and probably another tool or 2, but those will come in time. Rarely is a game this good when it first hits early access, often even after full release! This would actually be a fun job to have, just be careful not to fling yourself straight into the furnace .... twice.

Much potential and some current fun to be had, but very much needs capacitors and transistors at the very least before full release, preferrably ICs as well. I look forward to it.

Very fun and innovative survival game with minor shortcomings. Absolutely worth the current price, even more so when on sale. Also see their new game, looks like they are improving and going strong!

+ can craft everything
+ design weapons, vehicles, buildings, etc pixel by pixel or quick craft with existing designs
+ solid fun gameplay
+ story and procedural adventure modes, single and multiplayer
+ generally beautiful scenery
+ great character design and graphics
+ indie dev that is active and responsive in the community
- lacks polish
- interface is clunky
- quests do not give an option to decline or delay once you know what they are
- AI is an idiot
- creatures can be overly tough, sometimes overwhelming

Bad graphics and yet worse performance than better looking titles. Bad jittery controls and no plot.

Early Access Review
Already excellent fun and still in early access! The crafting is well varied and enjoyable; it is rather simplified, but appropriately so for the scale. It also ran smoothly; the only oddity I encountered was, on my first attempt repairing the pick, I was holding it when hitting and the pick head flew way off to the pathway. I had to let the time run out and retry. You may want to wait on this title a while, but certainly do not miss out!

A few specific considerations:
This game will be well worth the money.
~ The single current chapter (and supplementary modes) may not be enough for it to be so yet.
The teleport options are great!
~ Especially quick teleporting to specific "stations".
~ It could use a couple more stations though, especially one for the furnace.
We need a decent way to retrieve items that escape the area.
~ Per a forum post, there is probably a way, but it did not work for me.
~ Perhaps items that pass outside a boundary should be deposited in the chest.
What are we supposed to do with crucibles after pouring the metal out?
It seems silly to be grabbying things bare handed right out of the furnace.

A must have!
