I have played a lot of rougelite games in all shapes and styles and this is by far (for me) the most artistically captivating. The soundtrack and visuals are a pleasant touch and the amount of items/abilities/combos you can pull off is incredible. Looking forward to following this game! Good job devs!

I have played just about any rouge-lite on steam and I can say that this one tops the cake so far. Especially it being in early access. I am looking forward to unlocking everything this game has to offer and continuing my quest on getting further in the game. I would highly recommend this game to anyone with a mild interest it.

First and foremost, I would give this a solid 8.5/10. Getting about 80% of the in game challenges and completing all extra missions/activities gave me around 20 hours of playtime and I still have to complete some smaller tasks.

I bought this game for $40 after completing all of the previous Far Cry installments even though the reviews of this game are heavily conflicted. I can agree that this game does feel more like a DLC to Far Cry 5 however it definitely stands on its own and was very enjoyable. Compared to the previous games I actually felt challenged (I played on the hardest difficulty). To me the AI felt a lot better than the previous game and there was a lot to re-discover. There is also a ton of unique charm to the areas in the game and tons of enjoyable dialogue at times. As with any Far Cry game there are bugs and semi-repetitive tasks with outposts and jewel hunting however that is what I enjoy about Far Cry, shoot me. So my advice is if you enjoyed 5 and are interested in what happened after, definitely pick this game up. Sale or no sale I would encourage anyone who enjoys the Far Cry series to give this game a shot.

To begin, this is Early Access so keep that in mind. Hunt: Showdown has been something I was interested in from the first trailer and now that I have played it I can share my two cents.

I want to start off by first saying the concept is VERY unique and I love the art style and play style of the game.

Pros:
- Very atmospheric world and gameplay.
- Super friendly UI and very quick to pick up.
- Very interesting combat system with tons of unique weapons and equipment that all aide your fight.
- The stealth that is implied is very fun to use and melee is super comfortable.
- The bosses, although only 2, are very different in fight style and level of difficulty.
- The map has tons of things to discover and very useful hiding spots.

Cons:
- The performance, although not PU:BG bad, is not something to smile about however I am sure they will address this.
- Some games there will be no PvP encounters so if you are looking for that be prepared.
- After you get the hang of the bosses it is quite easy.
- Sometimes you forget its a PvP at all.
- Can get very repitious.

Overall, this game has done a pretty good job with updates especially with the funding issues Crytek has suffered. The EA experience has been very enjoyable and I look forward to what the devs can put together with what they have started. The concept for the game is phenominal and I would love to see this game get more players.

Verdict: If you are willing to accept the flaws that come with a limited EA game, I fully suggest buying this game as there is a lot to do and discover. However, If you are on the fence, I would suggest holding off until further content updates and performance issues are dealt with before making a purchase. If this game goes on sale I would 100% reccommend it though.

Fantastic game. Devs have been keeping their promises and fixing all issues so far. If they manage to follow through with the full release of a game soon, then this could potentially be GOTY.

Okay, reporting a bug. I just got done spending 3 hours putting together my base and getting situated. I save my game and I load it to make sure everything saved. It took about 3 minutes to load, when it did load, i spawned under the ground and couldnt move, then a minute later I just died. Then it took me inside the caves, where again, i was underground and I died deleting my save... Thanks game. 3 hours wasted
