I was around 15 or 16 playing campaign missions on the original StarCraft. I was playing the mission where you have to survive for 30 minutes until evacuation arrives. I was building my base slowly, barely defending the enemy until there were 3 or so minutes left before the final wave arrives. I knew my base was not going to survive before that, so I took some marines, SCVs and some other units and went to the far corner just outside my base and built a single bunker. I remember shaking because I didn't know if they would make it. The 30 second mark arrives and my entire base is destroyed, and the Zerg start going for my bunker. At 10 seconds, they have found my bunker. 5 seconds and they have started wailing on it. It blew up right as the Medivacs arrived, and I won. I was shaken. I had actually survived the mission. That was an incredible feeling that day.
