I have to give a negative review after many years. I purchased the original iteration of the GOTY edition which included all of the downloadable content, but coming back to play after some time I find that they have removed the add-on dlc from the GOTY edition leaving just Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine and now they are requiring me to purchase the GOTY Deluxe edition to regain access to content that I have already purchased.

I recommend the game but with caution.

If you are a fan of Mount & Blade or a fan of antiquity in general it is extremely fun.

HOWEVER

The game is very buggy and poorly optimized. First session I played about an hour and a half and then the game for some reason sucked up 14gb of my RAM and brought my computer to a crawl. I couldn't close the process and had to restart.

The game itself and the concept is solid and fun but dev team really needs to iron this stuff out.

Added paid mods, but the way they implement the paid mods is by forcing you to download all of the available paid mods and then if you decide to buy any of them they give you the activation key for the mod. So even if you dont want to deal with the paid mods they're still going to occupy storage on your hard drive. seriously the sheer gall of this move is astonishing to me.

From the story depth and length, to the incredibly fun gameplay, this game is absolutely outstanding.

The game has come a long way. The developers really stuck with the game and made it an absolute treat. the current limited multiplayer is rather good and I imagine the upcoming Online mode will make it even better. This game is definitely worth a buy.

Pretty good game, fly around space battle ships explore small alien world maps. I like it but it just needs more, normally don't like DLC but this game needs it. Can't complain about the size though it's only $10 but I would like more to do. Also this game desperately needs a button to buy quantities as right now if you want to trade cargo between 2 worlds you have to buy each individual item which leads to clicking your mouse about 700 times before you leave. Because of this I find the game unplayable without an auto-clicker program.

It's a good game, ship battles, ground battles with AI teams that you can customize. Customizable ships, and spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaccccccceeeeeeeeeeee~~~
