This game is nearly 15 years old now but remains extremely playable. Thanks to the extensive modding community, there's always something new to experience or explore. The default graphics leave much to be desired and the flight model is not the most realistic thing on the block but everything comes together in this sim very well. It's very easy for a new player to pickup and have an enjoyable first time experience. If you're a sim or aviation enthusiast, you're already very familiar with this true classic. No matter who you are, you owe it to yourself to experience the last of the great Microsoft Flight Simulators: FSX.

In FS2020 beauty really is skin deep. Massive amounts of aircraft subsystems are completely missing. The menu structure is confusing and poorly thought out, key bindings are poorly laid out, and the app suffers from massive stability issues. If you love enjoying >50GB downloads every few weeks and crashing to your desktop, this is a great choice. If you're serious about aviation or just want a more complete sim, consider upgrading to FSX.
