Hello to one and all, hope you are doing well. I am 57 married for 35 of those years.(When revealing my marital status to an acquaintance they responded with the question 'to the same guy?' which to this day still makes me giggle) which Henry and I look upon as an achievement lol. I became a gamer in 2005 when Henry gifted me my first pc and game(Riddle Of The Sphinx) to help me get through a deep sadness due to poor health. I am happy to report it worked and have been a gamer ever since.
My favorite genre are adventure, racing, shooter, management, puzzle and simulation. Given my age I'm sure it doesn't surprise you that I have a special place in my heart for the arcade games and so if you glance at my library you will see the Atari collection of which Centipede, Crystal Castle, Missile Command and Pong are some of the games I play on a regular basis.Lately I've been feeling the need to expand my interests into action so I've been dabbling in the classic Halo series. If any one has some suggestions on which games a newbie in that genre should begin with feel free to do so in the comments.
I'm at a point in my life when others at my age enter a "crisis" being 57 and all but not only am I not experiencing a mid-life crisis I am actually enjoying my position as an "older person" in the global, local and gaming community.Eager to encourage those younger, to guide them just as my elders have done so for me I've begun writing my first walkthrough.
