Do yourself a favor and get your hands on the Book of Hours Master Reference. It's super important for looking up what memories books make.

Also it helps to have a friend demystify the game, lots of the motifs and symbols can be daunting at first.

That being said, I love the game, it's a good time killer and a fun puzzle to work through.

All of my friends are refusing to play this game so long as the PSN thing is active.

EDIT: Now that Sony has backed off, I have switched my review to a positive one. I love this game, it's tons of fun, the satire is on point. Even the issues that the game has pale in comparison to how much fun it is. Buy it, get your friends to get it, and tell Sony to go to Super Hell.

Spent a few attempts running around, thinking "I should equip some new stuff and buy/sell things on the black market before this next combat" only to open up my inventory and be told it hasn't been implemented yet. Tried reloading, restarting the game and even verifying files to see if something went wrong. Entire run was lost.

Started a new game, and my character got stuck in the "Holding a weapon" animation, slid along the ground and wouldn't consider any of the neutral enemies to be enemies. So I was just staring at an alley thug holding a BAR that wasn't in my hands.

Would be a fun game if there weren't game breaking bugs around every corner. I'll change my review if/when it gets fixed, but I expect better from Paradox. This is just embarrassing.

It's a fun little roguelike. The destruction of the environment is probably my favorite aspect. I haven't gotten to the end of the game but the chaos I cause in each map is enough to make up for it. Also, all the little side areas that are off the main path are fun to hunt down.

This game is beautiful, can't wait for the rest.
