Early Access Review
OK, this game is shaping up to be an all around better Hades. The polish is missing but this game has a lot of the same game play loop from the first one nailed down, all with new and familiar faces from the first game. It's incredible how many unique interactions there are, and how lively the hub feels. There are however some things that are lacking that aforementioned polish such as some background art, text visuals, and some character models are more pixely than others (Hecate I'm looking at you after the fight, the stance is a little off). I've only ever encountered one bug where I couldn't get the prompt of the boon and had to restart the game to fix the issue. Nonetheless, I think Hades 2 is a must-buy if you like games like the Binding of Isaac, Vampire Survivors, or any other 'rogue-like'.
On a side note, a few things I would like to see improved upon:

NPC interactions, the game allows you to interact with a bunch of npcs in the hub, often with yellow quest marker highlights. there's rarely anything of use out of connecting or saluting any npcs after you've given a nectar to one of each. I think the shades could almost be little helpers around the hub in a way if you salute them enough.

In terms of weapons the axe is busted, its mega fun, and it's busted. There are a few weapon augments that allow you to pretty much one shot any mob and can tear bosses apart with spin to win. Then again you do have to get lucky and get the weapon augment, meanwhile I feel as though the sickle is lackluster, while the main weapon and others feel balanced for the most part. I would argue though, the main weapon (the staff) has most fluidity out of all the weapons. The one sad part about the combat I've experienced thus far is it feels button-mashy to the extreme, I've been playing with a Dualsense controller and man my fingers hurt from all the button pressing, and I'm sure it's the same for any peripheral. I would like to see the cadence of attacks feel a lot less spammable without sacrificing the power and upmph the weapons seem to have right now if that's at all possible.

My last point would be about Arachne, I enjoy the idea of having the armor from her and unlocking different styles. Maybe these visual styles can also be unlocked and saved to Melinoe's tent and can equip for appearance only?

Pretty good for an early access game, hope they continue to invest in their product and fix the bugs and upgrade all the systems to be more smooth. One gripe I have is some of the bosses are a little too large for working in a base, perhaps toning down the size of them once they're captured and working in a base would be ideal.

Final Fantasy 4 is my favorite Final Fantasy. When I heard there was going to be a Pixel Remaster I couldn't wait. I've been so happy with this purchase and how impressive it looks on my computer. It really takes me back while also improving on some otherwise dull effects when it comes to spells and other animations.
The game holds all of the integrity you probably remember from the GBA version and the earlier 90's version. I highly recommend this game for those who are seeking a game they can get attached to be it through its story, characters, or art style, this really is a top tier game and Final Fantasy continues to acknowledge this game as so.

Cookie Clicker on Steam is by far the greatest release of 2021. Right now I have about 200 Grandmas working around the clock to make as many cookies as I deem. If you're curious as to why there's a price tag for this game, it goes directly to the Cookie overlords, of whom you don't want to f&$! with.

DRG is a fun game with online co-op, you can easily get 50-100+ hours on this game, there's skill trees, unique abilities and 4 classes. I found it a lot more fun with my friends while solo content was pretty lackluster. There's cool weekly missions that reset and you can unlock skins. To sum it up, there's a lot of content but the replayability gets pretty stale after a week or so. More biomes and different 'planets' would be a good start along with some other QOL updates that I'm sure will be coming in the future...
