to be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Cory in the House. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of the inner machinations of Cory's mind most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Cory’s bonehand, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Hentai literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Cory in the House truly ARE idiots-of course they wouldn’t appreciate the humor in Cory’s existential catchphrase “I'm just trying to prove a point,” which itself is a cryptic reference to War and Peace. I’m smirking just imagining those simpletons scratching their heads as Disney-san’s genius plays on their television screens
