This was a game in my wishlist purgatory for years and i finnaly decided to pull the trigger on it. The game launched in a 640x480 window on my 1080P monitor and refused to go any bigger. This was an absolute pain in the butt as changing the monitor resolution just scaled the game down making it impossible to see. I went down the rabbit hole of replacing the game engine with a modern reimplementation. This failed to missing dependencies. Because of the antiquated engine and the no modern resolution support i would strongly suggest passing unless it is free.

Now as for the gameplay... the controler support is an absolute cluster. The buttons the game was telling me to press didnt match any of my controlers including my era correct Logitech. One would extect Start would get one into the correct menu for equipment, save, magic, exit and so on. Nope! It is the B button on the Xbox/Nintendo controler. X is attack and sometimes accept but also sometimes exit. Y is also accept enter and interact. In menu the Dpad is used yet moving around on the map is left analogue stick. the left analogue stick movement is touchy and i found myself moving to areas when i didnt want to.

Knowing what the mission goal is was a pain in the rear. there was one puzzle that i just could not figure out as there had not been any puzzles up til then. there wasnt any notification that there was one to move forward. Because of this i got stuck and frustrated until i found a guide.

The enemies can either be easy or unforgiving. with the analogue stick movement it makes it very easy to run into a super strong enemy and get instantly killed. The combat is very klunky. Very early ARPG and not a good early implementation of it either.

Another frustration was the uncensored patch. It was explained over and over that there was a free one and it was supposidly linked to a pinned post on the discussion page. that post was nuked. the reviews of the uncensored DLC patch made me avoid it. Why spend money on something if it doesnt work. The art work was fine for the base game if you get up to the monitor to actualy see anything.

So unless you have the ability to replace the antiquated RPGMaker VX engine with mkxp i would suggest giving this game a hard pass. It is 2025 and times have massivly changed. The short commings are just too much and makes the experience unpleasant and frustrating.

What if someone ported Vampire Survivors to the PS2 and someone else complained that the game was too SNES looking. This dev said "Hold my drink!" and now we have Megabonk.

Fun gameplay and a large amount of stratagy is needed. So many interesting builds. However sometimes the enemies AI can cheat. I found i can get attacked the warning that the attack is comming happens. Exploding enemies shooting enemies etc.

Beyond that the game is addicting and i am looking forward to what new crazyness is brought in.

Child: MOM! I WANT SILKSONG
Mom: GSH, We have Silksong at home. Kaelaverse: Pemascape.
Child: YEY

This game was very fun. Any deaths that happpened where my fault. Some of the Puzzles where a bit challenging and there are some chest that i still cant figure out how to get.

It is a short game with about maybe 10 hours of gameplay. Somehow steam didnt record all my gameplay so my played hours is inaccurate. Totaly fun and would/will reccomend to others.

Pros:

Very tight controls
cute animation
good mechanics
lots of thing to find
lot of things to do
great price

Cons:

Short game
Puzzles can be confusing without any context.
Double jumping leads to a roll attack so muscle memory can be one's enemy.

This is one of the best Free games with no free to play gimmicks on steam. The quality is top notch, the soundtrack is a banger. There is some sort of game or minigame for anyone... including those crazy enough to enjoy math or suprise math quizzes in a lighting storm.

Looking forward to seeing what the future beholds

Pros

- Good Soundtrack
- Tight controls
- Linux/SteamDeck support
- Wide controler support
- Wide system requirement options from Potato (with Vulkan) to top of the line
- Something for everyone
- Price
- Art style

Cons

- Surprise Maths quiz in the middle of a mob spawn during a lighting storm and every incorrect answer leads to death.
- Game can slow down when there are a lot of fans and things on screen
- Very long spans between updates

This has been a fun game, got it from a friend who wanted to have someone to join them, then they went and ghosted me. Played solo for a few years until a few friends joined. Now it is a completely different experience and a lot of fun with repeatability. Friends make a huge difference with this game. The increase in difficulty with the new season stuff adds a sense of complexity that does often require the team to change tactics.

This game has an interesting game concept and idea, Sadly it was not well executed and the difficulty curve went up as the game went on. Sadly the story is a bit lacking verses some other games in the Genre that caused this to be reccomended to me. I will be going back to those and this game will likely never be reopened agian unless there are some updates.

This is a good game for playing with friends, there is a wide array of varying weapons each one has it's own unique challanges. This makes it a good challange for those that are seasoned in the game and new comers. There is a lot of What was that? during my multiplayer games.

Pros:
Larger multiplayer base up to 8
Large selection of game types and modifiers to choose from.
No pay to win mechanics
Low system requirements
Runs on linux

Cons:
Setting up a multiplayer room for only friends allows non friends to join.
Getting the gears or tokens is a pain in the butt when you have your hands on the keyboard for prescision and the mouse is far enough away you dont have time to react to get the tokens.

This is a wonderful addition to Victor Vran that ads an amazing sountrack, more enimies more death more fun. This is more Victor Vran and that is a good thing.

Downside is that this DLC is no condusive to streaming or uploading to youtube due to content id match. Just like Rocket League, any stream or video will get a copyright strike due to the background music.

Well worth it if you can get this DLC addon for a good price and totes would reccomend it.

Note: i am running this game on linux

The Mad Max port from Feral is amazing. I am glad they took the time to make sure this port was right. I was shocked and amazed when i was able to run the game on a core2quad with a gt640 or a gtx460 on two different systems. I never got dips below 19fps though i did turn the settings down to get a consistant ~30fps on average. Great Job Feral!

As for the gameplay. the driving mechanic sucks horribly, for a game that cirles around driving and fighting while driving. it can be a bit if a pain in the arse. Luckly your car doesnt explode unless you dont get out fast enough.

This brings me to the next irritant, getting killed when you are doing an action that does a cut scene. this happens a lot. one scenero is you are in the car and the timer pops up. There is a cut scene for getting out of the car that has to load and in the time you choose to get out of the car when the timer is on 5 seconods it might be 6-7 before max actualy gets out of the car because of the forced animation. Boom you are dead.

On the plus side this game scratches my itch to just run virtualized people over, cause massive mayhem, explode things as well as enjoy some beautiful scenery.

Pros: Runs well on lower spec machines, very gorgous
Cons, Driving Mechanics chuck a wobbly, character cutscene animations can lead to cheap deaths

This game is like Escape Velocity (the franchise) and the game NAEV. Unlike NAEV which was greenlight here on Steam, Endless Sky has actual made it so that you can download and keep it up to date in the steam client.

Now as for the game it is classic Escape velocity fun. Get a ship, explore the universe. You choose how you do so and make a living. You can choose to trade, do quests, or be a pirate.

Thats where some of the similarities end. In Endless sky there is the challenge of debt involved. your starting money is completely a loan that you have to pay off every in game month, You also have to pay your crew. This makes it more pressing to earn a living and make as much money as fast as you can.

Now when i first started i left the planet with the absolute joy of starting a new ship and i would leave the planet and explore , wait... whats that? I AM BEING KILLED BY PIRATES!!!!

Died, restart. Leave starting planet, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MORE PIRATES.

Died.

So as fun as the game can be if you do not get the fire power to deal with the pirates right off the bat you are hosed.

There is suppsoe to also be a way you can get into your safe file and mod it to your liking. Every time i did that, regardless of the OS, It would corrupt my save file and i would have to restart everything over agian with a new save.

Now with all that negitivity that i just mentioned, This game is fun and as addictive as Escape Velocity. I was up so late playing it for so long without break that someone called me a beserker the next day due to how red my eyes where.

Would I recomend this game. **** yes. At this price it is a no brainer.
