Incredibly fun and addicting.

It's great to keep trying out new builds with each run, especially since they had a new update.

Also, the achievements are incredibly funny. I bet there isn't one that you don't know the reference for. My favorite one being the "Why didn't you Dodge!?" It's a Team Four Star easter egg.

After about 16 hours of gameplay, it's pretty fun. I love circuit racing. Part of the reason why I loved Forza 4 way back in the day. The driving feels good, the cars sound good and have their unique feel differentiating one another from their respective classes and brands. However I have a few issues with this game.

-The progression system is trash. I thought I could play around it. but It's pretty horrible and has a long, long way to grind. Gone are the days in this game to freely upgrade any vehicle you buy. You have to race with the damn thing at pretty much stock. Depending on the vehicle, it's about 6-9 hours of grinding per vehicle. Which is pitiful. it's ridiculously monotonous, unsatisfying, and not rewarding in the slightest. I would love to see the old system brought back.

-The UI is okay, but it can be a bit clunky. Back in Forza 4, you could get in a vehicle and seamlessly jump from upgrading straight to editing the livery and then to a race and what not. In this game, you need to constantly choose the vehicle you want to upgrade, and when you're switching to something else, you need to select the vehicle again to edit the livery, oh, you want to race? Guess what, you need to select the same vehicle AGAIN. I can find it incredibly annoying when you just want to stay on the same vehicle. (Especially if you're trying to grind out that vehicle due to the crappy progression system) It seems like it's made to waste your precious time. I would hope a better system is in place. You know, back in Forza 4, when at the main menu, you see the vehicle you currently have selected, and that tells you whether you need to switch the vehicle or not, depending on what you want to do.

-Drifting. Need I say more? Where is my drifting mode. I spent countless hours in Forza 4 in drifting mode, it switches it up from the monotonous racing that only circuit racing can do.

-Speaking of drifting, the Maps, Where is Fujumi Kaido? What the hell!? We've been wanting and waiting for this map for ages, and it seems like you guys are purposely leaving it out. As a fan, we're sick and tired of this modern gaming bullcrap.

-Vehicle selection. I know, there's a lot of vehicles on this list, but there is quite a bit less than I thought would be on here. You guys seemed to only include vehicles that could be racecars... why couldn't you add in all of the other vehicles? I would love to make a sleeper Toyota Camry. You guys keep missing the mark whenever it comes to vehicle selection. You guys always seemed to do it from the past, why couldn't you copy and paste vehicles from previous games?

-Crashes, the game will crash now and than. It also frequently lags when loading.
I have a 3080 paired with an R7 3700x so I shouldn't be having this much trouble with the game, yet I am, unfortunate. Please optimise your game.

Overall, I'm having fun. But I feel like this game is going to burn me out before I even really get into it. Mostly because I'm being denied building the cars I would want to build because of the long arduous vehicle level grinds. I only recommend you buy it if it's on sale. Other than that is not worth your time.

Was fun for a while. Even bought most of the DLC. Until I saw what this latest expansion does.

Money grubbing bastards.

The CEO also just fired hundreds of employees. So more money goes into his pocket because his money grubbing game is complete. All he needs to do now is wait for the money to pour into his pocket.

**** You Pete, you take advantage of all the scummy tactics that make you money.

Can't play on Steam with my old World of Warships account of 8 years... I have tons of premium and non premium ships that I've amassed, but cannot take advantages of the convenience or benefit of having it on steam. Trying to link my steam account to my old account straight up just doesn't work when I try and launch the game from steam. It's a disappointment and I know why they do it. Money. It's all a huge money grab, I knew the developers were greedy, but this is the last straw. I've sunk more money into this game than I'd like to admit, mostly because when I was super infatuated with this game there were a lot of unique ships at the time that would spice up the game and change it for the better. However the new ships, the CV rework, the addition of OP broken submarines is unbelievably laughable. It's clear they don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about long time fans of the franchise, just look at all of the reviews on steam that each has thousands of hours into the game.

I myself have at least 2000 hours in the game with about 29 premium ships most of which are in the T8 -T10 class. I'm not going to make this super long because after looking over all of the other reviews, they've already said enough.

I bet if I do get a reply, it's probably going to be the "I'm sorry, but our game is like that" Copy and paste ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that I expect to see. An out of touch developer regurgitating mindless excuses about this game that I once beloved now is a greedy money pit. To anyone that is looking to get into a game, don't go into this one. It will try and suck you in with it's surface appeal of graphics and promise of fun, only to smack you down with all of the pay to win and unfair battles ahead. You would need at least as many hours and dedication as I do for it to finally seem rewarding, only then will it feel "ok" But that's the sad part, it will truly never be anymore than that for me.

It's an amazing game.
Loved Hades, and I love Hades 2.
They somehow kept the feel of Hades, but it's new and fresh. Not many games can do that.

The game-play is new and interesting, more complex and high skill ceiling, new boons from Olympians that we've never seen before, and we get to see some returning Olympians. Characters are interesting and make you want to know more about them. It wouldn't be a Supergiant game without the amazing storytelling. Like Hades, Hades 2 is among some of the best storytelling I've felt in a game like this. The rougelite game-play keeping it fresh, and with every fail (or triumph) progresses the story. It's the same genius formula that Hades had and it still works perfectly here.

Currently it's early access, and I've got over 30 hours in the game. It's amazing. Can't wait for the full release.

UPDATE to previous review below:

Big update, Escalation of freedom, it's cool and all but they nerfed all the fire weapons making them pretty useless now. This seems to be a large problem that the devs always seem to use, they love to nerf everything to the ground and make the game less fun and more frustrating. Especially since they added another Difficulty 10. Not sure why, but they don't want us to play this game and have fun. Will be putting this game on the back burner for now to see what happens in the future.

(older review below)
Helldivers 2 is a very fun game, it's even better with friends.

It wasn't all sunshine and rainbows though, Sony has moved the dev's hand in trying to add in the requirement for mandatory PSN account linking to steam. It was rightfully review-bombed because of the undemocratic ways. However, because of our stead-fast and strong beliefs, we persevered and beat Sony. They backpedalled and refuted the requirement that was supposed to drop on May 6, 2024.

So I am leaving my positive review to Helldivers 2 for staying on the players side.

Really fun rouge-lite, the rounds are quick and has a huge sandbox to it. 10/10.

TLDR: Super Freakishly Fun! Would recommend it to anyone who loves chill games to play while watching Youtube or something.
This is a game that my girlfriend was able to get into before me, so I decided to try it.
If you are the type that loves to min/max games, this is probably one of those for you. Also, there have been a lot of updates in the last month or two. My current thought on this game doesn't apply to those most recent additions.

You own a shop somewhere in the middle of seemingly nowhere and live humbly as every morning you pick a random assortment of herbs/ingredients that grow throughout every night. When at the front of your shop you are approached by customers who will tell you either what potion they are looking for by telling you what they need/are experiencing. Your job is to figure out exactly what potion they need, as there are seemingly endless types of potions you can create for very specific circumstances:
Wounds - Healing
Insomnia - Sleeping
Hiding - Invisibility
Some customers might need mixtures of potions. If their criteria isn't met, they will let you know saying that they will be willing to pay for a stronger potion.
Headache and insomnia - Healing and Sleeping

These types of potions will require more ingredients and time, but after you can SAVE THE RECIPE!!! It's seriously my favorite part of the game. (This is where the min/max comes in) Over time, you will acquire ingredients that will be more efficient than the other ingredients, you will learn how to balance out the amount of ingredients you use to the ones you acquire from other means (ingredients from your garden and merchants)
There is a progression system too, you have an old alchemy machine in the basement that you need to fix up and use to create precious gems that allow you to make more ingredients and stuff!
"There are multiple ways to skin a cat": as some would say, the same applies to a game such as this.

Short thing about the music: It's really good and chill. :)

Only gripe about this game is that I wish you could build relationships with merchants and customers, or maybe even create contracts for making potions for governments and stuff. idk, I might be asking too much but it would create a pretty cool narrative and wouldn't make the game seem repetitive after a while. I'm on like day 80 or something and have created every single recipe you can. Seriously, I bought like over 100 recipe pages from that one sorcerer.

Anyways. This game is a solid 9.5/10.

The campaign is super fun, new, and equally challenging but not not unfair. Seeing Master chief in the older art style with some thoughtful changes to his armour was great. The open world is great and doesn't feel empty. I got all of the campaign achievements and they were challenging and fun. Gonna recommend solely because you can purchase the campaign and have a choice to play the MP which is free-to-play.

The MP... needs some changes.... seriously. Needs a better progression system as well as a rework on the customisation. The battle pass stuff is ok, but it needs a better system for people that just want to progress (like a rank system). The prices in the store have been "reduced" but I still think it's stupidly expensive, there should not be any one item that should cost as much if not more than the battle pass itself... They also need to add more modes to multiplayer, I'm talking BTB, King of the Hill, and all of those other classic modes. Some more maps would be great too, older maps would be a warm welcome if they put it in. WE NEED FORGE!!! Forge has been in every halo since 2007 on launch.

Edit: Can not recommend the MP, it's straight up broken and we have no forge and all of the other stuff we should be getting and they had the most half-***'d store "Changes" I've ever seen. "We tried selling you 4 items for $20, but you didn't like it, so we changed it for the better... You can now buy one item for $7. Aren't our prices so nice?"
