Amazing game, everything just works and indeed feels well polished. The core gameplay loop is absolutely fluid, you have like 10 Mechs and you can take anyone on the match, 2 are unlocked by paying some currency and the rest are unlocked from the get go. Everything else is fun, the UX is a bit janky and apart from the quick get-in and compete there's not much really going on in the game, but it shines where it matters, and that is in the gameplay itself. The mechs are absolutely fun, and nothing feels unbbalanced as of now.
Everyone's complaining about beta progression, paid cosmetics and so on, but this is a F2P game, there's nothing paid to play it, I wouldn't fault the devs for making money off of customization features and some unique skins/mechs (which are still balanced). Nothing today is free and I'm sure this same money is what is keeping the servers as fluid as they are, future development to proceed, past investment of the devs to bear some financial fruit and help develop the game. So far this has no predatory paid stuff, you can play any mobile game to know what predatory really is, so ignore the negative comments. As for bugs, and past progression items to come over, let's allow the devs sometime to address those concerns.
Also, the combat is deep, it's not straight up shoot/melee/fly, there's tons of movement, abilities, and combos, you can read the mech's guide and it mentions everything. Also there is a key to zip down but some people think there isn't, it's left alt. Fun game, love it.

Amazing game, I love it.
This review is only valid for the current state of the game as of base release patch so later on it won't be as effective, and is a review to be read after going through some other reviews to get an actual idea of the state of the game. My review is more of an opinion or my view of the game than an objective "this is the game" thing.

To boot, it doesn't have voice chat, or any way of communication besides the Fromsoft-esque way of talking, that is wiggling, jumping, emotes and using preset voice lines through ingame items. it is really unique and interesting. Like I see people jump in excitement and celebration at the end of a run, how when people get knocked and others rush to spank them up (oh yeah, that's the only way to revive a knocked teammate, something damn weird lol but it fits the game's design) and how when one person pins a location on a map, the other 2 don't ask and travel together. In the trailer they showed that people might go solo, however it is quite inefficient so peas in a pond, people have to go together and that is nice, what's better is that someone could be down on the other end of the map and the other 2 will likely go to help him up even if he went there of his own accord, atleast I will and seeing that others do the same is pretty chill. I'm not saying whether current state is good or not, or if it can be better or not, just what we have right now is
also something cool.

All that lack of voice and text comm really doesn't leave much in the way of sometimes an overwhelming communication, like someone exclaiming do this, that, or hearing a kid screaming because he's about to lose a level after getting knocked. Instead, we have just the background music and the nice sound of agony from dying enemies. Also, I can't speak about others but my time with randoms has been sweet, like, the boss could be 1 hp, 2 of us could be down and instead of focusing him, that player would much rather pick me up or someone else when there's 0 incentive to do that, on the contrary it loses us the game, but I think it is sweet because they would much rather prioritise reviving than killing the boss, which doesn't get you the game but it is kind and that atleast deserves a thanks.
And this game is 3vE (3 people vs AI Enemies), my first impression was that it'd be stupid boring to play 3vE, I bought thinking it's a Battle Royale (Poor research i know) however, it turned out to be quite something. It is repetitive; but the game has such a low tolerance for failure that it gets fun trying to maximize the chances of winning against the nightlord. I mean, you can't even spend 10 minutes afk, you have to utilize the whole time effectively, keeping running, looting, killing and leveling up where each run lasts 30-50 minutes. ER was a single player game, meaning your pace was slow when clearing areas and following the story, ER:N however is not, it's still the same game but with 2 more people, which is why it feels odd to not have any moment of calm.

Amazing game really, ofcourse it will (I mean should) get updated with people's feedback and evolve as it is an online title and hence must keep updating to keep it interesting, which is what makes the current state of the game a fleeting experience. I'm glad I was able to live it when it got released :)

One of the most satisfying UI in games. The cards, sounds, effects are all so peppy that you simply get hooked into the game. Like, one of the only few games with a single (or maybe there's few) background tracks that you don't put on mute because how well it fits in the game.

And once you learn it and get going, chips and mults rising sound and visual effects just get you keep returning for more. Like you start off with getting just 200-300 points per poker hand but in a while you get like 45000 in a single hand and you go "What!?". That good.
Amazing game, 10/10. Also bought it on my android and downloaded it on my mac as well. Just pure fun.

Early Access Review
Let me preface this with,
YOU CAN USE WASD TO MOVE!!!
I checked for it on the net and knowing that POE2 had it was an instant buy for me. I tried POE1, click and do stuff was just not for me, but not here. And initial impressions ? This game is freaking fluid! It is amazing how well the animations look, how smooth attacks and everything. This is my first ARPG and it is pure fun. There's never a dull moment, and continuously fighting hordes of enemies is done very well, what's more are the archetypes of enemies, your own abilities and just so many things to do, it is packed for its price. And the best part ? The cost of the game is essentially 0, it will be Free to play when it releases so right now what GGG gives you are 300 coins, which cost the same in the ingame shop, so its practically just buying ingame currency and getting access to the game for free.
The sound design is excellent as well, on my decent pair of cans it is cinematic, but note to the devs, please consider adding more depth to the sound, its Elden Ring's menu OST level of detailed but feels less punchy, a little more EQ or mixing would make it much stronger.
Definitely worth a buy, addicting!

If "Let's take all the best parts of Overwatch, none of the offensive parts, and create a copy of Overwatch" was a game. It's okay, but it's like a dish that's just meant to be edible, a make-do dish. Even without any comparisons to OW, it's quite stale. But if the dev team is creative, would be willing to take risks, wouldn't mind offending some players to fulfill their vision, and wouldn't fall for the money shenanigans, this game could have a nice identity later on, right now though, playable.

I'd give it a meh, but definitely worth a try.
Good mechanics, great hitreg and gun feel. But it feels very lifeless, like something about your clones crouching and staring, being a remote motion sensor hollow bodies feel very creepy, plus the lack of ambience in sound and a very bland environment makes it very unappealing, it feels standardised for the proper fair matches (like no distracting environment and sound etc.), but to a normal player, casual players, this doesn't feel very appealing, which is a big reason why people invest time in games as well.

Okay, well damn this works!
Didn't expect it to, but this worked on Star Citizen and made my FPS go from ~22 to 70, though there is input lag and a lot of artifacts but that's just my initial config with LFSG 2.1 and x3 + Performance mode. Pretty sure if I tweak it, that will work out much better because the Performance mode reduced the input lag heavily already (without affecting the fps)

Generic space game with absolutely nothing good about it. The older MEs had a bit of flair, some substance and weight to the story and characters felt as if they meant each word. This on the other hand looks like some indie studio's try on continuing Mass Effect and hoping no one would spot a difference.

Even by itself, not being compared to its predecessors, the game is monotonous af and uber boring. The missions play out almost the same way, you go to a place, explore a bit, there's some very faked voice lines denoting how serious a situation is like some low budget TV show, then you explore the faked danger and resolve it with your buddies. The last part is executed well, actions and the like feel good. But rest of the stuff ruins any bit of fun with the fakey characters, childish tonality and very poor cinematography.

The Jankiest and most boring MMORPG ever.

No SEA servers, + Whoever thought it was a good idea to have server-validated physics in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MMORPG ? If you have bad ping or theres no servers in your region, PVE is completely janky with huge rubberbanding in melee combat whilst in ranged combat your actual weapons fire 200ms late which is brain wrecking. The disaster that is running casually on rocks and jumping with said physics is the most unique garbage tech in gaming. Obviously, with said jank, PVP is a joke.

As for story, there is none, the main quest is uber generic, worse than FF14's ARR main quest, just run around kill mobs return and rinse repeat. I don't give 2 damns about crafting, if I wanted to do crafting I'd rather do some actual crafting or play something else. What's left ? Nothing, that's basically it for a new player up till level 30 and the other reviews mention it remains mostly the same for the rest of the game.

This game is not fun.
