The DOOMTRAIN demo offers a compelling hook by blending base-building with train-based tower defence. The core loop of managing your town’s resources while simultaneously defending your train is for sure fun. While the demo only provides a vertical slice of the mechanics, the theory behind upgrading your turrets and keeping your citizens happy shows a lot of promise.

That being said, the demo definitely leaves you wanting more depth in the management systems. While the combat is satisfying, I’m looking forward to seeing how the full release expands the building/upgrade tree and the variety of encounters. I’m interested to see if balancing between town maintenance and train defence becomes more complex as the journey progresses.

I really enjoyed Cloverpit. It’s one of those strange games that doesn’t try too hard to impress you, but still ends up sticking in your head. I liked its odd rhythm and the sense that it was built around a single, slightly unhinged idea.

That said, I gave up after leaving the room for the third time even though I’d only earned about half the achievements because it felt like I’d already seen everything the game had to offer. FWIW I enjoyed it more than Balatro, which surprised me.

Worth a buy.

Really enjoyed this. It is obvious that care and attention went into crafting this story, and it is a game to be played for it's story.
Proper sci-fi with choices that make a difference. This could have been my GOTY in a year that Clair Obscur E33 wasn't released.
Highly recommend.

Loved the first one, loved this one! Good writing and voice acting, a fun puzzle to put together. Perfect for a weekend game :)

What a beautiful game. Well written, with a fantastic score, I enjoyed every minute I spent in the world.
In turns funny, heartfelt, romantic and tragic, it has firmly entered my list of top 10 games for all time.
I completed it in about 35 hours, and am now tidying up all the side quest stuff, which is just as interesting and fun as the main quest line.
Highly recommend.

This is a lovely little game where you control a small boat on a mission to free areas of water from pollution. Watching the little bays you clean spring to life with flora and fauna is very satisfying.
The graphics are cozy, the gameplay simple but well-crafted, and the music is easy to listen to.
The game is about an hour long and costs less than a coffee, so why not play it on a lazy Sunday afternoon and give yourself a wee hit of dopamine.

100% this game for the sausage man. What a guy.

Tall Trails is a LIE. You play as Alp, who is short. And in the demo there are no trails.
That being said, I love this game and cannot wait for it to be released.
The movement is fun, the writing is funny, the NPCs you meet are cute and have character. It is well-made, and the developer is active on Discord and open to suggestions/chats!

I made a lake house, stood on the porch and watched the sun go down, and a sheep drifted past on a balloon.
