An enthralling journey through the city of Cloudbank. A city where the "sky looks blue because we want it to." A beautiful story with beautiful scenery and atmosphere. Playing it once is all that is needed to be satisfied.

Play this game with the lights off and the audio loud. Immerse yourself. A few hours is all it takes.

The scale of Planetside 2 is definitely what brings the player in at first. As soon as you make a character, and choose your faction. You are thrown into the heat of battle. There is a brief tutorial, yes. But most likely, after being forced into battle, you die. Many would be deterred by this. You are essentially a lost soldier on the battlefield, no experience, weak, a nobody.

This is the first of many obstacles one must face, as you respawn over and over again. You keep playing autonomously. It's a new experience, a new game, and it's barely been a few minutes. You're not bored of this game yet. You'll play around in the menus, see the guns you can unlock, see the upgrades. And you'll most likely click the "find a squad" button. You are unawares of the significance of this.

You join a squad, unbeknownst to what could happen. You'll see objectives; coloured names. You do them, as any soldier would. You realise that you are no longer a lost soldier, but a man with purpose. It is no longer senseless slaughtering. There are goals, and there is success or there is failure. There are people who need your participation. Suddenly, you hear orders, commands, and organization from your squad leader. The squad chatter fills up, and you hear the ambience of war. This is when you realise, that the scale of Planetside 2 is much more than it boasts.

The experience of combat, and warfare will keep you playing this game. The unlimited possibilities, of tactics; of discipline, will satisfy many. This is Planetside 2.
