Delightfully macabre with a good plot, although the ending may be less satisfying for some. The gameplay loop is surprisingly cozy despite the themes; a good tailor/cooking/greenhouse simulator and the tutorial is well-encompassing to ensure you know what you're doing.

Managing time may be difficult for some, so a tip for players: use the time between the shop being closed to prepare ingredients/displays (and prioritize upgrades for better time). It took me around 7-8 hours to 100% it, and around 4-5 hours for the story.

I do think this is fully worth the price with its playtime and the unique experience, but I did get it for 2USD during a sale. I think a good extra achievement would've been getting all the skins, but it was fun being able to customize things regardless.

Early Access Review
Great fun with friends especially. I appreciate the challenges (daily & weekly) and I have a lot of continuous fun without burnout playing Phasmophobia.

It would be great if there were more ghosts added, even if only a few, and maybe a few lighter/playful game-modes. Overall, I highly recommend, especially if you have a group of friends to goof around with. It can be scary at times, too, but overall I find it more 'thrilling' than genuinely scary.

Cozy Creature Collector - it may seem like the fish are expensive with the in-game currency, but once you get started with your tanks, it progresses very fast. I typically check my fish tanks once a day.

It's fun collecting the painted/golden varieties, and I like the themes you can create for your tank. I'd love an update that would add some more decorations, though. The ground and lighting has a lot of a variety, but not in terms of the actual decor.

Overall, for the price and ability to check semi-regularly and the goal to get the rare varieties of fish, I recommend this game. I also like the music.

Highly recommend if you enjoy cozy, low-stake simulations with tasks and creativity. I plan on buying the DLC soon, but I've well got my money worth in enjoyment, and I plan on continuing my journey of small-shop euphoria! This is a very low-stress simulation game that allows you to create stickers of your own, optional glittery-goodness, different packaging goodies such as candy, packing peanuts, the frizzly things, etc.

Addictive, easy to understand "Diablo-like". For context, I have never played Diablo 1 or 2 until this game. It didn't have a steep learning curve, amazing story-line/bosses and atmosphere - it really gives me Bloodborne-esque apocalyptic vibes in terms of the world. I am playing a Cabalist (Occultist/Necromancer) Pet Build and its very enjoyable, although requires attention and micromanaging and ensuring you have enough pets/summons. They can go down quickly in higher levels.

The devotion trees can be a little complicated so I would recommend looking up builds and what they truly do if this is your first runaround, but I highly recommend this as someone who's played Diablo or enjoy dark fantasy ARPGs.

Lovely, dark puzzle game. Puzzles aren't too terribly difficult but do take some time. Easy controls and the story was cute in a macabre way! I look forward to seeing more of these types in the future. Very relaxing, too, with comfortable music.

I generally vehemently avoid people that review prior to completing a game, and I'm doing the same right now. Regardless, I figure I've gotten it down enough to be able to review positively.

First, a lot of these are meme reviews but they're right: It is a good game, and recommended for those that can accept a challenge. It's a very difficult game, obviously, but as a new Soulsborne player in general I enjoyed it quite a bit.

First of all, the graphics and overall plot are superb. The story, as a general statement is melancholic as hell. It has a very hopeless vibe and you feel quite powerless in this game [from my experience]. However, its incredibly satisfying to beat a boss after so many times and continue playing. Pay attention and be aware of what your character is doing, and its an amazing time.

It's interesting to try out different builds and stats, and the covenants can be pretty fun if you're interesting in delving in multiplayer. Multiplayer can be very frustrating to new players that don't quite understand the unspoken "rules" of being an invader or invasions in general. However, take it with a grain of salt. It's how they receive awards, and while people may seem disrespectful, its in good light. Although, Dark Souls with Voice Chat is not generally recommended. Using emotes you find during quests, talking to NPCs can be quite amusing and hidden easter eggs once you feel comfortable with your skill in the game can be very rewarding.

Combat requires patience. I'm still absolutely lost at times with mechanics and I still die a lot. I haven't gotten gud yet, obviously. Player versus Player and Player versus Enemy are very different, and I generally recommend doing a different character dependent on what you plan on focusing your character on.

I recommend this game because it has so many different opportunities for the player to take grasp of. The world may seem bleak at times and some areas are not as fun as others but there is an obvious beauty in struggle. Please give this game a try if you're new to Dark Souls! It's worth it, and the lore of the game is incredibly fascinating.

It's a +1 for me. Also, wheel skeletons.

Second review ever - criticism welcome.

I absolutely adore this game's story line and depth to all companion characters. The romance is awkward if you decide to initiate one, but has its perks as well with understanding a character on a more intimate level with dialogue choices. This game is painstakingly slow, obviously, and turn-based RPG.

If you can tolerate slow and frustrating battles and find their specific charm of being able to straight up run a track marathon, go to McDonalds, and return and the your turn not yet viable, then yes. An extreme exaggeration, but in bigger and more rigorous battles, it is incredibly annoying to wait while other enemy characters uselessly squander around.

In all seriousness, that is my main complaint and many others' as well. It's slow. Simple.

The artwork is supreme, the soundtrack is beautiful and fitting for the game, and the classes and different moves are fun.
I currently play as a Witch (Necromancer) and thoroughly enjoy the different race-exclusive content. It's immersive. Aside from being able to customize your own character and enjoy the companions in the game, you can also pick a companion to play as to experience their specific quests more closely.

There are a lot of options and a multiplayer mode, but I only recommend playing with close friends. It can easily allow random people to join if you don't properly set the privacy, and obviously, people suck and sabotage your play-through. I already murder random NPCs, but I don't want others doing it for me with ill intent.

In Multiplayer, you can also set up a designated battle arena and pick your characters and fight that way if you don't want to play the story at the moment. In Singleplayer, there is obviously different difficulty settings. If you are new to RPGs, I heavily recommend Explorer as the easiest. The Story Mode is for a more immersive, quick experience in battles but overall I got annoyed by the lack of challenge. Tactician Mode is the most difficult and painstakingly frustrating for me, but provides a challenge for those that wish for it.

TLDR:

If you like turn-based RPG with unique aspects and character development and can look past the standard cons to the game (as slow-progressing story and big battles with long turns) is a common flaw, I highly recommend them game. It's enjoyable and has a long lifespan of playtime. I've played 40 hours as the time of this review which is barely hitting the top of the playtime with the story itself. If you're unsure about the game, do get it on sale. It regularly goes on sale periodically.

Arguably the best game I've played that follow the genre of an amalgamate of Harvest Moon with a sprinkle of cave-crawling with different floors to a mine and different enemies and, alongside that, loot each following 10 floors.

Rich in content, LGBT+ friendly, and gorgeous character portraits and bright pixels that contribute to its charm. The location is pretty, and each season has a great set of soundtracks.

My only complaint is character development following marriage for each spouse. It begins to get painfully redundant to speak to them for a few dialogue changes and obvious romantic lines. You can have children, but they do not offer any unique dialogue and cease growing after a ''toddler'' stage.

You do not have to marry anyone, however, and romance is entirely optional although interesting to see exclusive scenes after you begin dating the character. You can date multiple characters to see the content, but upsets the NPCs and there isn't multiple marriage, obviously. There is a mod for that, if that is what you wish. It has a plethora of player-made content, and the developer encourages such.

If you don't want to focus your days solely on crops (although, that is just as enjoyable) you still have some of a requirement to do other things as well to get the full experience. I primarily focus on my crops and animals and then on rainy days, explore the mines. There is also fishing and foraging, which has its own charm. Foraging is simple as picking up season-exclusive items, and fishing is incredibly rewarding once you have different tackles, bait, but also difficult for those with twitchy hands.

TLDR:
You begin with basically nothing in the game and no characters that you are bonded to, but you can spend hours upon hours of getting to know characters and growing close to them and improving your farm, the amenities on the farm, and crops + animals. There are a multitude of perks each year, and there is a special progress scene upon the dawn of the third year. Highly recommend this game of most caliber of people.
